Welcome To The Future

The next few years for me were hectic... and I mean HECTIC.

I started small.. I played a dying woman on Grey's Anatomy, then stepped up to playing a hostage on Criminal Minds, THEN I got to even step up my game so far, that I actually had TWO LINES ON AN EPISODE OF THE BIG BANG THEORY! The first year was not anything that I was expecting.. I was ready to take on lead roles and smooch Chad Michael Murray and have a dramatic moment. But sadly, no.

The next two years after that is when things started getting exciting.
I remember sitting up in my New York Apartment, watching How I Met Your Mother re-runs with my dog and going over the script for a small indie film I was hoping to do. When I got a call from Renee screaming through the phone.

"Thank the LORD you're awake! I have an exciting project opened up for you!"

I shoved Bannie down and immediately sat up.

"What kind of project are we talking about?"

There was a long pause, then I heard these beautiful seven words.

"Have you ever heard of Once Upon A Time?"

THREE MONTHS LATER

"Okay Autumn, now this is the big scene! You're trying to show Storybrooke that you can be a hero! You're using your magic to subdue one of Zelena's newest creations. With the assist of Regina and Emma. Now I want some raw emotion! Some tears, ANYTHING! ACTION!"

The scene starts with Autumn " who is playing Joliene, Daughter of Merlin and Nimue" racing towards a massive snake tearing through the town.

"I can hold it off! Trust me Emma!"

Emma runs up to her yelling over the sounds of the creature

"You don't have to face this alone Rose! We can help you!"

"I have to prove to you that I'm not like my mother.. I can see it in your eyes!"

Regina walks up towards them with her magic ready.

"Oh just shut up and let's do this together. We cannot do it without the other."

The three of them use their magic and destroy the snake.

Director Harrowitz yells "CUT!" and as the wind machines die down. Jennifer puts me in a playful headlock and ruffles my hair.

"Not bad kid. You did pretty good in that scene."

I tried to shimmy from her grasp but failed and just laughed.

"I'm only 26 years old. I'm not a kid!"

Lana walked up in front of us and laughed at the sight of Jenn trying to choke me out.

"You're our little kid.. Just wait till we take you with us to Comic-Con this year."

The entire cast immediately took me under their wings (some of them literally) and made me feel at home. I filmed an entire season with them and they all loved me and vice versa.

"Autumn, you coming to the season wrap party Saturday or what? You never answered my text?"

Ginnifer walked up to us and placed a hand on my shoulder.

"I dunno Ginn.. Should I go? I mean.. It's you're guys tradition and I'd hate to be THAT person."

Josh walked up and ruffled my hair teasingly and places his hands on my shoulders. What was with these people and messing up other people's hair?

"You're apart of the Once family now kiddo.. Get used to being invited when we go out."

We wrapped up season 6 and it was a huge hit and BLEW my fanbase up. Not that I had one, but if I did. It was known now. I was out there for the media..

They call them selves the Autumn's Seasons. I wanted to call them my leaf's but they thought otherwise..

We finished season 6 in two months and on the flight to San Diego for Comic-Con. I got the phone call that changed my life.

"Autumn! It's Renee.. Boy do I have a job for you. How would you like to play a Marvel Superheroine?"
