Here We Go

Let's just say.. I didn't make it to Comic-Con.

As soon as I hung up the phone and our plane landed, I turned right back around and headed for New York, and missed my first chance to go to Comic-Con in San Diego.

I arrived back at her office in hours and was panting in my rush to get to her office. I swung open the double doors and wiped my brow.

"Please tell me you weren't joking in your phone call to me earlier?"

Renee motioned for me to sit down and I resisted the urge. If I sat down right now, I was gonna squirm the entire time or pee my pants. Either one an understandable reaction for the news I just received.

"I am not joking at all! Kevin Feige called me this morning asking if I knew of any actress who would fit the part and of course you met every detail!"

My jaw hit the floor, in pure awe at how the universe was treating me lately.

"What do you mean I met every detail Renee?"

Her hands flew to her mouth as she tried to hide a smile.

"He said he was looking for a girl about 5'8", with blonde hair and fair skin, with piercing blue eyes."

I let out a gasp and started squirming in excitement, Renee did the same and rushed over to me for a hug.

"Oh Emilia! This role will put you on the face of every magazine, and on every nerds walls!"

"How! I'm just- I don't- I don't know what to say! Or think! Of COURSE ILL TAKE THE ROLE!"

We both squealed and jumped for joy, then she ran over to her phone and called for the wrench.

"Call Kevin Feige, tell him he's got his American Dream!"
