Mary and Julia's ghostly adventures

Chapter 5 A Sailor moon day, a play and karaoke night

The next morning was a Monday  they only had 9 days left now until Julia had to leave forever or for Mary to change her back to normal. On this morning they decided to go to Julia's favorite sites which were anything to do with Sailor Moon. Julia knew Mary would enjoy the Jindai Botanical park so they went there first. Julia explained to Mary that this place was home to 100,000 planets from 3,000 different species, that it opened in 1957, and was in the 3rd season of sailor moon when she and her friends went to visit it just like they were doing today. The next place they went was called the Azabu Juban shopping district. Julia explained to Mary in Sailor Moon they went here several times and that it was her regular shopping area  Mary and Julia looked around the shopping district for about 4 hours and if Julia ever wanted something  she would posses a local person and make them buy it. Then somehow it would magically float away and Julia would leave that person body leaving them very confused. It was now about 6 pm and Mary was hungry but not the least bit tired yet surprisingly. So Mary and Julia decided to find a dinner and a show to go see. Julia looked for a show she had always wanted to see for a very long time which was the Sailor Moon Musical. When Julia found it and saw they did dinner and a show Julia begged Mary to go see it. Mary was more than happy to do this for Julia sense Julia had done so much for her already. Mary bought herself a ticket after all ghost didn't need tickets. Julia loved the show so much and it made that much more special that Mary was sharing it with her. After the show was over Mary admitted she enjoyed it too. Now it was 10pm and Mary still was not the least bit tired so they found a place for Mary  to sing karaoke. Amazingly they found a karaoke bar just 2 blocks from their hotel. The place was called Shots Karaoke Bar because  all the drinks came in either big or small shot shaped glasses depending on what you ordered. Not long after Mary and Julia found a booth to sit in a waiter came over to take Mary's order. Mary wanted to order a drink that was Japan or at least anime related so when waiter asked for Mary's order Mary told him she wanted a drink called the Hello Kitty. This drink had vodka, tykuliquer, and lemonade so it was a very strong drink but Mary didn't know this. Because it was new to her. After Mary put in her order Mary headed up to stage to sign up on the karaoke list. Mary put her name in for Don't  Stop Believing by Journey and for Julia she chose Whitney Houston's  Greatest Love Of All. After she put her songs in Mary came back to the booth where Julia was and sat back down. Mary's drink had arrived it was a tall skinny shot glass. Mary took a sip and said " "mmmmm this is awesome". Suddenly the announcer said" Mary  your first round is now. Mary headed up on stage and started to sing Journeys Don't Stop Believing . The crowed loved Mary and cheered her on. When Mary was done everyone there stood up and cheered and whistled loudly. Mary took her bows then stepped down and rejoined Julia at their booth. Some more time pasted Mary was loving Her drink so much and enjoyed listening to all the Japanese songs and the people who attempted to sing  in English too. Soon  Mary was up again for her 2 round to sing and this time she sang Whitney Houston's Greatest Love Of All. Mary was a great singer and when Whitney's high notes came Mary hit the notes dead on and once again everyone cheered. When Mary was done singing Mary said into the microphone " I dedicated that song to my best friend  Julia. " Awe" Julia said Julia wasn't aware Mary signed up for 2 songs or even that she was doing Whitney Houston let alone for her. When Mary came back and sat down again Julia wished she could hug her best friend but instead Julia said"that was beautiful. The song and the dedication. " Thanks" Mary said. Mary and Julia watched everyone sing the rest of the night while Mary finished her drink. When Mary was finally done with her drink  Mary help so happy she didn't realize how drunk she was but Julia could tell she was acting different. Julia said" come on Mary  let's go" it's really late and it was, it was after 2 in the morning. "Ok" Mary said  but when Mary stood  up Mary was having trouble standing still. Mary stood in place but was swaying in place. Mary was very tired but thanks to the alcohol  she was also laughing a lot but that was drink talking she didn't realize just how tired she felt. Thankfully the hotel was not far though Julia wasn't sure Mary could make it. Julia watched her best friend very carefully. Julia knew Mary was drunk enough that she was tipsy and could fall very easily. Mary almost did once but Julia caught her mid trip. Thankfully they made it back to the hotel but the waiting  in  the elevator and the motion of the elevator going up was too much for Mary. The motion made Mary feel sick. Mary threw up just as they were exiting the elevator and Mary lost control  of her body and collapsed  to the ground unconscious just outside the elevator doors Julia picked  Mary up off the ground and took her in their room for the night to sleep off the alcohol. Once in the room Julia called the maintenance people and told them what happened. Julia made sure to watch Mary closely that night just incase something happen but thankfully nothing did.
