Chapter 9: Kara's POV
"So after a lot of thought. After thinking about it. Looking at my situation from every angle I've made my decision." I tell Sarah right when we reach her locker.
"Really? All of that in just two hours?Because its kind of a miracle that after almost a month of him begging you to give him a chance you've finally made a decision" She asked
I nodded.
"What are you gonna do? " She asked with a huge smile and excitement in her voice.
"Well -" I started
"No, no, no. Let me guess! Wait wait wait. I'm having an epiphany ..." She interrupted me. She turned her head kind of looking to the side but a little bit higher and did something like the girl from the Disney Channel show That's so Raven. She had a look as if she was seeing something that nobody else was then shaked her head and turned to look at me smiling.
"You're gonna go and talk to him and when you see his face you're gonna realize he's the love of your life. Finally you're gonna realize he's your knight is shinning armor you've been waiting for your whole life to take you away from your tower and lead you to your paradise on earth. You're going to realize that love actually exists and that this time is gonna be different from the last one. This time instead of your knight throwing you out the window from the top of your tower then using you as a landing mat this one is actually gonna fight the dragon for you defeat it and do it all because he loves you. After you see him you're both going to elope to Canada, have twins and raise moose for a living. "
"What?" It was all I could manage to say. I just stared at her dumbfounded.
"I told you I was having an epiphany." She states simply.
This girl is officially crazy, nuts, she's missing a couple of cables on her brain.
"An epiphany?" I asked doubtful. "More like a 'I have too much sugar in my body, I'm to hyper and I'm starting to loose it so bad I'm hallucinating-iphany' "
"Because you added -iphany in the end dosen't make it a word."
"Oh, trust me, I know."
"So tell me what are you going to do then."
"I think I'll give Kyle a chance." I told her, feeling like a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders. "Not because he's been technically stalking me to do so..well maybe that but really because as much as I 'didn't want to admit this even to myself I think I do kind of like him." I continued, smiling to myself at the memory of Kyle and I kissing in front of my house.
"You are?" She asked surprised. I guess she thought I wouldn't give Kyle a chance since its really hard for someone to change my mind. I guess Kyle's special.
That thought had me smiling in no time.
"Yes. Yes I am." I replied
"Then I'm really happy for you." She said then gave me a hug. "Now go and get your man before he leaves." She said slapping my butt.
"He's not my man." I told her.
"Yet." She added then motioned me to move mouthing me 'go and find him'.
Just like an obedient child I turned around and went to find Kyle.
