***At the hospital***

"What do you mean 'not going to make it'? what's going on?!" Niall questioned, he was definitly panicing.

"Oh my God there was just sooo much blood.. She called me crying.." She couldn't even finish telling him without breaking down.

"Blood?!" He yelled. his voice an octave higher. "Was she in an accident?" He asked

"No, no. No accident, Niall. She tried to kill herself. She told me she fucked up she sounded drunk. She cut her wrists. I really thought she was dead when I got to her, her lips were blue." Miranda told him, crying.

Some little boy in the waiting room went up to her and handed her a tissue, he couln't have been more that 5 years old.

"Don't cry." the child told her. "My sister made herself an angel, too." He walked back over to his mom, not giving her a chance to thank him.

"I'm coming home. I have to." Niall said, his voice sad.

"Niall, you can't leave, your tour is almost over. You know you wont be allowed to leave." she tried to reason with him.

Just then, a nurse came and motioned for her to come quickly.

"Niall, I have to go. They are calling me to come back. Please, stay. Don't do anything yet. Just wait for me to call you." she said, getting up fast and running to the nurse.

"You had better call me." He said hanging up.

***In LA***

"GODDAMNIT!!" Harry shouted, throwing his phone across the hotel room.

"What's wrong, mate?" Louis asked, concerned.

Niall was not in the mood to answer, instead he went into one of the rooms and slammed the door behind him.

One of his worst fears was coming true. His best friend needed him and he wasn't there. He was clear across the globe and she needed him. He paced the room, throwing his snapback. He kicked his suit case causing all it contents to go flying at the wall. He laid down on the bed, face down in a pillow and heavy sobbs shook his small frame, the tears soaking

"What's going on, mate?" Zayn asked, touching the fragile boy on the shoulder.

"I'm a lousy friend" Niall cried, sniffling "She needed me and I'm thousands of miles away and for all I know she could be gone and it's all my fault"

"Slow down, bro. What happend?" Zayn said, sitting down next to him.

"Ali tried suicide and Miranda called me, she found her and rushed her to the hospital. I gotta fly back home, I gotta be there for her." He jumped up, and started frantically gathering up his strewn belongings.

"You can't just leave, mate. What about the show tomorrow?"

"I have to go. Don't you understand. What if it was Perrie? Wouldn't you do anything you could to get back to her?"

Zayn nodded. He knew once Niall made up his mind, that was it. No one would be able to talk him out of it.

"Hello, yes. I need a flight as soon as possible.. No, I'm not concerend about the price, I just need the soonest flight possible...ok thank you.." He said holding his phone between his shoulder and his ear, continuing his frantic packing. He gave the lady on the phone all of his information, booking a ticket that left LA in 3 hours.

***Back home at the hospital***

"Right now, we're trying to get her stablized. She's lost a lot of blood. Can you tell us exactly what you can remember that can help us?" The tall doctor asked.
