I looked at Patricia as my mind desifered what was happening. It was all Senkhara. I knew better than to believe that Eddie was cheating on Patricia, he practically loves her! Senkhara was using all of my friends as her string puppets. She was trying to tear us all apart.

It all made perfect sense.

Senkhara made Jerome get creepy this morning and she made Eddie kiss that girl. She undoing a puzzle that was perfectly put together. A sigh escaped my lips, all of this was because of Senkhara.

"Hello?" Patricia looked at me, "Earth to Rose?"

I blinked at her. "Oh right," I began, "So, I think Senkhara is using all of us as puppets. She made Eddie kiss Justine, so it wasn't Eddie's fault. And this morning, with Jerome, he got all creepy and possessed by Senkhara. She was controlling him."

"So what now?" Patricia looked at me, her hands folded in her lap.

"Well, you are going to apologize to Eddie and I need to talk to Fabian," I smirked. She glared at me, before scoffing.

"Alright, fine," she stood up, "Come on, now."

I followed her down the stair case into the kitchen, where Fabian sat eating a piece of toast and Vera was washing some dishes. My eyes immediatly flew to the figure sulking by the window. That would be Eddie. I looked at Patricia and indicated toward Eddie. She rolled her eyes and stalked over to him.

I smiled and turned around to talk to Fabian. I sat down next to him. "Pretty boy," he murmured, giving me a glance.

"Oh, hush," I said wrapping my arms around him to hug him. He seemed rather surprised as his arms hesitantly embraced me back. "I need to tell you something, but we need to go somewhere private."

He turned around and Vera was looking at us skeptically. He nodded before standing. "I know where to go." I stood up and he grabbed my hand.

He lead me out of the kitchen. We were about to leave Anubis house when a voice called to Fabian.

"Fabes," a voice sing-sung, "Are you ready for our date tonight?" I whiped around and found myself looking a Joy, her hair done in curls and make-up done like an actress. She smirked at me before looking at Fabian. I backed away, watching them awkwardly.

"Oh, hey, Joy," he gave her an uncomfortable smile. She pulled him into a hug and Fabian winced. I cocked my head to the side before laughing.

Joy released Fabian from her grasp and turned on her heels to face me. "Something funny?" she asked.

"Yes, actually," I laughed a little bit. She put a hand on her hip. "I find everything about you two entertaining. You two are such a happy couple." I clasped my hands together.

"You're right," she said sarcastically, "We are the happiest couple. Ever."

I looked at Fabian who appeared mortified. "Well, 'Fabes' and I should go," I smiled, before indicating Fabian out the door.

"Okay!" Joy said as we began to exit Anubis house, "See you on our date tonight Fabes!"

I winced at the word 'date'. I couldn't believe that Joy thought Fabian actually liked her. "I'm sorry," Fabian's head was down. He looked ashamed.

"I really don't care about her, Fabian," I smiled, innocently kissing his cheek. He slid his fingers into mine and a rush of excitement overwhelmed me.

Fabian and I walked over to a hedge that was a little ways away from the Anubis house. "So what did you want to talk to me about?" Fabian asked.

"Oh, yeah," I said, "So, it's about Senkhara. I think she's been controlling us."

Fabian nodded before something in his eyes changed. They turned a shade of red. I looked at him before gasping. Senkhara.

"Fabian!" I screamed. But before I could do anything, his hands grasped my shoulders and he threw me through the hedge. It was painful as there was a system of branches the I broke through, and I fell hard against ground when I fell through the other side of the hedge. My vision blurred and a searing pain struck my arm. I looked at my arm and noticed my mark was glowing and part of it was beginning to fade.

I arched my back in pain and bit back sobs. Tears swirled in my eyes; my head was in a lot of pain. I clutched my arm and rolled on my side. I  began to squirm along the ground trying to find something to hold onto, but nothing was there. I screamed at the top of my lungs, but no one came.

I saw the figure of Senkhara appear, her laugh vibrating through my skull. Tears started fleeing from my eyes. I stopped my squirming and lay on the ground of leaves, sobbing.

I turned over so I was on my back, facing the trees and sky. I blinked and a tear rolled down my cheek. The last word I uttered was 'Fabian' and then I fainted.
