I dedicated this to MrsOdair because I was thinking of her scolding me about writing that I liked Fabian.

We all stood there quietly, all of us obviously thinking, maybe not Alphie as much. Fabian looked at the mark on my arm closely and looked up in thought. Nina sulked she looked between Fabian and I, shaking her hand like we were a discrace.

"What are you doing in here?!" an man that had a British accent walked in carrying about eight books on balance.

We all looked at each other for ideas, when Fabian stealthily pulled a book from his bag. "Oh, I made them come with me while I returned this book." he held it up and the man looked at the cover.

"Fabian, that's a science textbook," he said. Nina snorted making Fabian turn as pink as a cherry blossom.

"Oh! Fabian you brought the wrong book!" I said grabbing the hard book from him.

Fabian laughed nervously, "Oh-h-h, yeah!"

"Well we've got to get to class," Patricia said stabbing her watch with her finger.

We all nodded, but the man told Fabian to stay behind and us to go ahead.

"Fabian, what were you really doing here with them?!" he asked. (I stood in the short hallway instead of leaving like the others.)

"I'm sorry, Jasper. I had to return my book," he replied.

"I am gonna have my eye on you, Fabian," Jasper said, pointing to the door, indicating Fabian to leave now.

"Okay, sorry again, Jasper, " Fabian turned. His bag twirling around his waist.

He bumped into me as he walked out. He paused and made sure Jasper wasn't looking.

"What are you doing?" he whispered.

"Seeing if everything was okay," I shrugged.

"Thanks," he smiled softly.

I grabbed his hand, which was surprisingly soft, and walked out the door with him. It didn't feel right holding his hand though, it felt a little like an intrusion, like I was making him uncomfortable, but he actually didn't let go, making me feel better about holding his hand. We walked down the hill together, and met up with the others. I let go of him as soon as I caught site of the others, but Amber caught me. She shot me a look that said 'CONGRATULATIONS!' and another that said 'Are you guys an item now?'

"Hey Fabian, hey Rose!" Patricia greeted us.

Nina turned around quickly from talking to Alphie, and looked like she was about to attack me or something. Then I felt bad, is it right for me to just come in and date Fabian?

"Where were you!?!" she asked, "Telling someone about the Sibuna gang?!"

"What?" Fabian asked, "she stayed behind for me." Oh, Rutter. Rutter, Rutter, Rutter, Rutter. Are you trying to get me killed?

"I hate to be a nag, but we need to get to class," Patricia said stabbing not her watch, but my arm.

"Yeah, lets get to class. I don't want to miss my firs day," I said quickly, grateful to Patricia.

Fabian set off his charm and whispered goodbye in my ear. Wow, classy. I gave myself a silent 'I hate you Rose! You almost got yourself killed for staying with Fabian!' then followed everyone to class.

"Alright, class. Today we are going to talk about the elements of poetry," said a lady that wore a light gray blouse and skirt.

Alphie raised his hand. "Yes, Mr. Lewis."

"Mrs. Andrews, are we going to take notes?"

"Yes! Pull out your notebooks!" she replied.

Class was long and boring, but I learned some tips about poetry. Not that I'd use them often. Actually probably never use them. When we left, Fabian walked with me to my next class, which was just as boring as the last. It was like that, for the next two classes, until lunch.

"You guys, Nina said she wants to have a Sibuna lunch," Patricia whispered to us in the hall.

"Okay, where is Nina anyways?" I asked.

"In the bathroom," Amber said from the other side of Fabian and I.

"Is she oka-," I started.

"Apart from you and Fabian, yeah," Amber interrupted.

Patricia glared a her. While Fabian and I looked at each other. We smiled a little, but it was obvious both of us felt bad.

"Well," I said, "let's just go to lunch. I guess we should see what's up." We all continued down the hallway and to the lunch room. I Fabian on the bench by myself, while Patricia, Amber, and Alphie sat clumped on the other side.

Nina walked up and squeezed by Patricia. "We need to go to the mazes, immediately. I had a talk with you know who (who I asked Fabian. Senkhara he replied) and she said our friends are close to done with there memory's not brought, and the mazes are going to collapse if we don't go soon enough."

"You're really going to take her word for it and go to the mazes?" Alphie asked.

She nodded. "What about mazes and whose memories?" I asked.

"She doesn't know! HA! She shouldn't be in the gang!" Nina retorted, "She just wanted to be in be ause of Fabian! She just want him for herself!

I thought for a moment, at what Nina had just said, proved that I was nothing but an extra in the gang, though that's not what I was trying to be. I stood up, my face turning hot, I felt like if I cried the tears would evaporate from my face. But it didn't matter, I had already started crying the cold tears, running from the lunch table and to the girls bathroom, followed by Amber and Patricia.

They cooed and comforted me and told me that she didn't mean it. But I knew se ment every single word of it. I here foot steps coming from out side, but stopping at the entrance. It was probably the guys. I talked more quietly in fear of them eavesdropping and told them that I had a huge liking for Fabian, but I was nervous. They gave me encouraging words, but it was no use... I looked horrible. But I walked out of the girls bathroom anyway, I accidently tripped on the way out, but Fabian didn't catch me, Alphie did, making things a whole lot more awkward than they already were.

Then, I walked back to the table, grabbed my bag, and decided I had enough people messing with me today, and stormed off to my next class.
