It had been two months of school already, and I was in my room with Chai, who was helping me into a dark blue, long off the shoulder dress, that had a sparkled skirt. Karen had picked it out with Chai, who was eager to see me wear it. Luckily, my back looked normal with my wings folded into the extra pockets all of us had. Chai stepped back, giggling. "You look amazing!" She chimed, beaming. "Thanks..." I said, stepping into low, black heels.

Chai held my hand as we walked from my room, to Karen's, where she would put makeup on my face and 'help' my hair, as they called it. Walking in the hallway, we passed Falon and Hawk. Falon gave me a smirk, and I sent it right back, looking at the tux he was wearing. "Nice outfit." I said, and he smiled. "Right back at ya." I rolled my eyes, and headed down the stairs. After Karen had finished my supposed look, she drove us to the school, where Falon met up with the blonde who had asked him to the dance. He smirked at me and took her arm, just as the person who had asked me walked up. "Hey." Sean said, walking up, he took my arm, and we walked inside.

While inside, we danced awkwardly, laughing at ourselves. We were close to Falon and the blonde, supposedly named Catlyn. Eventually, the dance ended, and the students were allowed outside and around the school. There, Sean and I walked in the uncut grass, holding hands. We made it to a wall, and I could see another two people in the shadow of a building. I leaned against the wall, and Sean walked up in front of me. "Umm-" I began, before he kissed me. My eyes widened, and I glanced over to see Falon, glaring at him from the shadows. That's the same time the blonde stood on her tip toes, and kissed Falon. And also the same time that about twenty of the lizard-men jumped from the woods, making the school erupt in screams.

"Falon!!" I yelled, pulling away from Sean. He seemed shocked, and the blonde hid behind Falon. He rushed over, and I pulled a knife from the pocket Karen had made in my dress. This made the girl scream even more.

I tossed it to Falon, who sliced gashes in the back of my dress. I took the knife, and he shrugged off his black coat. I then sliced gashes in his white shirt, and we both took at running start. I leapt into the air, and snapped our my wings, making the girls screech in a type of horror you'd see in your common horror movie. Flinging myself at a lizard man, I hit it in the jaw. And so the battle began.
