Chapter 14- You Know How I Do

"Can you not..." Lola said. It felt as if everything was going in slow motion for a second, and I kept staring at Louis. Wow how can this world get any smaller.

Vincent put his arm around my shoulder protectively, and I saw him tense up. So, I put my arms around his waist and it helped make him relax a little.

A couple of seconds passed and no one said anything. Claire looked from one face to the other confused, and I had to wonder, how come every guy that she gets with have to be someone that I have an awkward history with.

I turned and looked at Vincent and said,

"Baby, can you and the guys go get us something to drink." He gave me a look as if to say, are you sure? I gave him a kiss, and gave him a little push. He looked at the guys and gave them a nod.

Without a word the guys hugged their girlfriends and followed Vincent. Louis didn't know what to do, so he followed them. I silently prayed that they wouldn't get in a fight. Now that could get nasty.

I turned around and saw that Lola and Izabella were looking at me waiting for further instructions. I looked at Claire and said,

"How did you too meet?"

"Why is everyone acting like this?" She answered my question with a question.

God how I hate it when people do that.

"I asked you first, so answer me." I said

She looked down and said, "Well, the night when Vincent broke up with me, I went to the club and ordered a drink. I think that I drank too much because the next thing I know is that I wake up in a bed somewhere unfamiliar."

"But the thing is that I was dressed. Every time I wake up after being drunk, I would be naked with some guy next to me. This time I was dressed with no one next to me. When I went to the living room, Louis was sleeping on the sofa."

"He didn't take advantage of me. Even though I was drunk and probably wouldn't remember anything, he didn't take advantage of me. That is the kindest thing that anyone has ever done to me."

When she said the last sentence, she looked up at me, and her eyes were filled with what I could only explain as happy tears.

I went up to her and hugged her and whispered into her ear "It's okay."

She hugged me tightly back and pulled back smiling, wiping away the tears that freely went down her face.

The boys took that as cue to come back over to us and Vincent kept shooting Louis glares, and grabbed my hand as if it were going to fade away.

"Stop it's fine." I got on my tippy toes and whispered into his ear.

He looked down at me with this unreadable expression on his face. He let go of my hand and mumbled okay and walked ahead of everyone with his hands in his pocket.

All night I tried getting him to cheer up but he was just giving me the cold shoulder.

"Is everything okay?" I heard Louis ask from behind.

"Uhm yeah I guess something is just wrong." I mumbled.

"Yeah he wasn't really happy on seeing me I guess, he kept giving me these looks. Look I am deeply sorry if I did anything to ruin your relationship, I had no intention to." I couldn't help but smile because of his politeness.

I hugged him and he hugged me back and I whispered a "Thank You" in which he returned with a "Welcome"

I pulled back, and turned around where I saw Vincent who just scoffed and walked away.

"God what is his problem" I thought ot myself.

I slept in my own bed tonight, because as soon as we got home he went up to his room and locked it. For the first time in a really long time, I cried myself to sleep.

The next day all of us including Louis and Claire were up in the loft, music blasting, just chatting when Jesse spoke up. "Lets play a game."

Lola, Vincent smirked remembering the last game. "Okay how about Never Have I Ever"

"Deal" "Okay" "Lets get drunk!" I heard Damen say. We all poured shots, while Lola had sprite.

"I'll start, Never Have I Ever peed in public." Damen said. All the guys took a shot and started laughing.

"Never Have I ever cheated on someone." it got really quiet and Claire took a shot, and looked around warily but I smiled warmly at her. To my right I saw a hand lift up and I looked over to See Vincent took a shot too. It suddenly got really quiet.

"Anyyyyways," Lola said "Never Have I Ever seduced someone on purpose to get something I wanted." All the girls looked at each other and laughed and knocked back a shot.

"Babe are you serious?" Ryder said to his girlfriend with a smile.

"You Know How I do." She said in a really ghetto voice flipping her hair back. I couldn't help but laugh, even though that shot that Vincent took was still in my mind.

"Never Have I Ever....." I trailed off trying to think of a good one "been in love with someone."

I looked at everyone and Ryder and Claire knocked one back, Izabella and Xavier knocked one back, then again from the right I saw Vincent knock one back.

"Oooooooooh is Vincent in love with my baby girl over here??" Damen said pinching my cheek.

"Nopeeee!>" he said then walked out.

I felt the tears start to blur my vision but I quickly wiped them.

"Whatever just get me drunk" I said and everyone looked at me with weird expressions, but Chaz being Chaz broke the silence and continued the game.

"Nopeeee"

"Nopeeee"

"Nopeeee"

That's all that ran through my head the rest of the night, as I drowned my self pity in drinks.
