"Why don't we just skip the rest of school and head to the Willow Park?" Chris leaned against the beam near the exit.

"Great idea. But only one problem egghead. It's on the other side of town, and we need our pod passes to get there." Brandi slips her bag over her shoulder. "Which is in school, and if you haven't noticed, we go to different schools."

You literally couldn't go that far out without one why!? Because walking across town wasn't a short walk it was 10 miles of city and city.

"No problem, we'll just sneak into the schools and snatch the passes." I pointed at Brandi and I.

"Yeah, great plan, Julian can go with Brandi and I'll go with you." Chris smiled.

Brandi only raised an eye brow and looked at Julian, then back at me. Then at Julian again. "You sure that's a good idea." Julian cocked her head at Brandi.

"I think I'll manage." Brandi smirked at Julian. She only flinched and looked at me for help.

"Maybe I'll take Julian." I say reaching for her hand.

"Ho no no no. It'll be nice to have some girl time. Ain't that right Julia." Brandi had a crazy look in her eye.

"Hehe No!" Julian smiled a strained look.

We started heading to the intersection where our schools were separated. "Okay, we have to be here by five minutes tops." Brandi informed us.

We all nodded. I caught Julian looking at me. I smiled and walked up to her and hugged her. "The look on your face is uncertain." I whisper in her ear as I pull back.

"Just be safe." She looked at me with bright eyes of fear.
"You too." I stroked her cheek. "Don't piss off Brandi." I winked.

"Oh dear love, don't leave me." Brandi and Chris mimicked our moment.

"But I must, the war needs more soldiers." Chris gave a dramatic distant look. He looked down at Brandi.

"Remember me my love." Chris held her hands and had to lean over to see her face. "I will Jack." Brandi faked a sniffle.

"Woah who the hell is Jack?!" Chris slaps her hands away. "I'm Chris! You cheating whor-"

Brandi slaps her hands over his lips. "Don't you dare call me that."

Chris and Brandi started laughing and bowed. "And scene." They recited.

"Well that escalated quickly." I said to Julian while keeping my eyes on them. "Do they always do that?" She asked.

"No. This is new." I leaned away from them. "Okay let's get going. Final period is starting now. Also Brandi I'm going to need a hair pin."

"You know so far that is the most racist thing you have said to me. So what just because I have darker skin than you, you ask me for a pin. How about Julian, she probably has one." Brandi began ranting.

"Haha funny, seriously just give me one." I reached for her.

Brandi only punched my hand away. And may I say, she has the hardest hits in the world. I swear my hand broke all of it's bones the minute she hit me.

She pulled out a hair pin from her hair and threw at me. I dodged and Chris caught it. She stomped away and pulled Julian along with her.

Chris and I started heading towards our school. We got in by the back window of the cleaning supply room. When we entered the halls everything was eerily quiet. Chris spotted our lockers and we took no time to pick the locks.

The pad screen lock clicked and we snatched up all of our passes. "Hey hold it there!" We heard someone rush down the hall towards us.

We slammed our lockers and locked it again. We took off running through the front doors and headed towards the intersection. The person chasing us was catching up.

"Oh shit." Chris pointed in front of us. Brandi and Julian was also running away from someone. But to our luck a pod was turning around the intersection.

It crossed our paths first and Chris and I easily got on. When it got to Julian and Brandi it took them awhile, because when it passed them it picked up speed.

Julian and Brandi tried to catch up with the pod. "I'll boost you up." Brandi yelled at  Julian.

Brandi ran a few inches before the entrance and cupped her hands. Julian jumped on her hands and Brandi launched her into the pods entrance. I caught her. Surprisingly, she was very light  or I'm just that strong, he he. Who am I joking? I can't even beat Brandi at arm wrestling, and she's a girl!

"Get your watermelons in here." Chris shouted. Brandi tried to catch up and, but that's the problem, Brandi only lacks in lower body strength. She makes it up with her upper body.

"If you don't get in here, I-I I won't buy you anymore burgers." Chris stuttered for a moment.

Next thing we knew Brandi flew into the pod and landed on Chris. Chris sat on the seats in the pod, while Brandi straddled him on his lap.

She was panting and her head was on his neck. Her hands wrapped around his body. She lifted her head, and Chris's face became red.

Brandi instantly fell on her butt and backed away.

Chris snapped out of it. "My life flashed before my eyes........I-I saw the light, and then.....there were watermelons, hurdling my way."

Brandi flinched then landed a side kick on his ribs. But she did it lightly, so it made him laugh. With that Julian and I just chuckled at them.

And we were on our way to the other side of town. I hope she hasn't noticed but we've been hugging each other for a while now. My face started heating up.

I only edited it because I was bored, not because I did it for you or anything.

Honestly, just continue the book. Your excuse of saying it was emotional stress. What a lousy excuse. Stop being lazy and finish it.

Laters. ~Tsaichi

Btw guys she totally did it for me....not !!
