Heading home

We all walk together laughing about what happened earlier. How Brandi nearly killed Julian with a plastic knife.

"You're lucky your boyfriend knows I'm a crazy bitch or else you'd have a knife in your neck." Brandi laughs.

Everyone laughs, but Chris was mainly laughing at how she called herself a crazy Bitch.

"Yeah I guess I'm lucky to have him." Julian hugs me.

"Damn I guess you don't exactly get the picture." Chris says sarcastically.

"Chris let's not go there." I say quickly.

"Too late." Brandi snorts.

"Look Julian, I've known Ben for more than five, maybe six years, and by far I've never seen him this happy. So at the moment you're his happiness." Chris stops and faces all of us.

Brandi punches Chris in the stimach and whispers something in his ear. "What Chris means to say is, that Ben isn't exactly the ideal type of guy." She states bluntly.

"Well ouch." I feign a hurt look.

"But! He's lucky to have you! And your happiness to him means a lot." Brandi smiles apologetically at me. "Right Chris!"

"Yeah that's what I mean. Did I say something wrong?" He holds up his hands in confusion. Brandi just sighs and facepalms.

Julian hugged me tighter and smiles. "Yeah I understand."

"Chris you had to express how you feel in regards of your friend. Thanks guys you both seem to be great people after getting to know you better!" Julian adds in.

"You too have a brotherly bond it's cute and it's funny how Chris knows you so well,I want to be like that with my friends but then again they just care about useless trends." She sighs and looks at the ground.

"What about me?" Brandi seemed offended.

"What about you?" Julian jokes.

"Alright off to the transportation station!" I say before Brandi could start swearing..

Once we got there Julian and I sat while waiting for the next pod. She lays her head on my shoulder. I wish I had more time to spend with her. Because if I go home, I'll be lonely.

Brandi decided to lean on Chris, and as always being the idiot he is, he moves and makes her fall. Brandi springed back onto her feet and chased him around.

She jumps up and grabs the metal pipe, swings her legs around his neck and let's go to drop him to the ground.

I laugh at their childish antics." I swear those two." I shook my head, still laughing.

"Ben! You should meet my friends!" Julian smiles at me.

Honestly, I would do anything to say no, but I wouldn't want to bring her down, so of course I had to say yes.

"Sure, I'd love to." I smile back at her. We all got into the pod and we were on our way home.

Chris, being Chris. Went along and swung around the pod using the handle bars, acting like the five year old he truly is. While Brandi sat at the far corner reaching into her bag to pull out a thick book.

She may not seem like a bookworm at first, but be surprised, her whole room was filled with books, that's why her roommate moved out. Brain and brawns go good together don't they.

Even though I felt calm, I was actually feeling nervous. I don't know if this date went well, I mean we only talked to each other and held hands, and hugged.

Do I kiss her now? Do I feel her up?! I don't know. Okay, I'll just need to chill out. I need to compose myself. And just go with the flow. WHATEVER THE FUCK THAT MEANT!?!

Julian began yawning and swaying a little, she then fell asleep. I don't blame her, it was a pretty hectic day. Skipping school, eating huge burgers, running from security, probably can't go back to school next week. It was exhausting but fun.

She looked so peaceful when she slept. I looked up to see Chris and Brandi sleeping, backs against each other. Brandi was hugging her book to her chest, while Chris was drooling and snuggling Brandi' s bag.

But when she was so peaceful. The pod stopped suddenly without slowing down, and we all jolted. Chris and Brandi fell down of their seats.

Julian went from my shoulder to my lap,I was stunned and didn't want to move for obvious reasons...

She woke up and got up it's almost as if  she didn't feel anything!
I don't really care but I'm pretty sure,that blunt object was felt because she landed pretty hard.

We all hopped off the pod and walked down the empty suburban streets.

"Ben can you walk me home!?" Julian asked.

"Yeah, not only that, tuck her in as well." Brandi heard her question. I could hear the sarcastic remark in her voice.

Julian then jumped in, laughing as well. "Who's tucking who in?"

Chris makes a disgusted face that makes everyone of us laugh.

I kind of wanted to tuck her. You know what I mean. But she seems like the type to get to know first. I'm not a person to just, screw with and leave. Just to let you guys know, I'm not a virgin! I'm not that bad with women.

"I have to make sure she gets home safely." I say with confidence.

"Yeah you do!" Brandi smiles and gives me a thumbs up. Who knew that girl could be more perverted than men.

I say bye to Chris while Julian tried to hug Brandi. Uh oh.
But Brandi only pushed her away, and laughs shyly. "I don't like hugs."

"Oh right. I wouldn't want to get your puppies in the way."  Julian joked and laughed.

Brandi glared at her. We were too late to get to Brandi. She hugged Julian.

She looked shocked at first,but then she smiled. Julian then let out a scream. I pulled Julian away from Brandi and Chris snatched her arms away.

"What did you do?" I asked. Brandi only winked at me and walked away. Chris shrugged and walked with her.

I faced Julian. "What did she do?"

"She hugged me too tight." Julian gasped for air.

I laugh. "Yeah, that's why she doesn't like hugs."

We saw the two walk down the sidewalk. Chris did something, because I saw Brandi' s figure slap Chris.

"Ah! Son of a bit-" Brandi slapped him again. "Stop hitting me!" Chris shouted.

We only chuckled and headed our way.
