I wake up the morning after the party with who I was hoping I would wake up next to. I gently move my head to look at their clock. They had this little pink alarm clock. It was very girly, just like their room. It's what you'd expect from a teenage girls room. It makes me remember when I was still in high school, living in my teenage room. They had light pink walls and mostly all the furniture was white. She had a lot of books too. Even though her whole room was neat and tidy, unlike my old room, her desk was cluttered. There had to be at least fifty post it notes with little things she wanted to remember. She had a calendar above her desk with even more little notes on it.
When you first walk in the room it seems exactly like she wants you to think it would be like, but I know this isn't like her at all. I know what are hidden in those draws and I know all the secrets that hidden in these sheets.
As I'm finishing looking around Ally's room I notice her move. She turns around to face me as she's waking up. She half opens her eyes for just a second to look at me then closes them again. It looks like she is pretty comfortable were she is and she doesn't want to move.
"What time is it?" She finally speaks.
"Around midday." I answer.
Her face scrunches up and she groans.
"No." She whines.
"What?" I ask curiously as she opens her eyes completely.
It couldn't be that she stayed in bed too late because we usually stay in bed recovering all day. The only other thing it could be is.. oh no.
She must of noticed the look of concern that just spread across my face.
"Yeah, my parents." She confirms what I hoped wouldn't be the case.
I quickly sit up starting to look around for my clothes that were on her floor.
I feel her warm hand touch my arm. "They shouldn't be back for like another hour."
"You could't start with that?" I say lying back down on the bed.
She lets out a little smile knowing she had successfully freaked me out.
She starts moving closer to me. She moves her hand to my naked chest and starts drawing a little circle pattern while she talks.
"You know we still have another hour."
I look down to Ally. She always was good with time management.
We both move even closer to each other until there is no space at all between us.
Ally and I have this non complicated, but also very complicated, thing going on. When I first met her I thought she was this innocent girl just coming to one of my concerts with some friends, and I was right, at the time. When I ran into her around a year later things had changed. She still had that innocents about her but as the night progressed I learnt that she wasn't as innocent as I first thought.
Sometimes I think I shouldn't be fooling around with someone in high school, even though she is eighteen, but it's not like it's serious between us. She has a boyfriend so how far get it get? And it's not like it's just sex. That's where the very complicated comes in. We get on really well, so we're friends but she has a boyfriend that for some reason she doesn't want to end things with. It doesn't make sense to me. She has briefly told me about some guy that she used to do this with, but, unlike with me, she actually had sex with him. They were each others first, while she had this other boyfriend. She told me she's only with him because that's what everyone expects but that still sounds crazy to me. Maybe because I've never been in a serious relationship before and I don't know what it's like. But still, they have been dating apparently since always and yet she still can't seem to let go.
