Twin Attack

Chapter 6

*10 MIUNTES LATER*

I wake up, zip-tied to a chair, i look around, i see Oli busy waking up, also zip-tied to a chair, and Tommy is still asleep, but lying on a crate on the floor. I see men with red masks on, and holding guns. I can see Oli busy trying to break the zip-ties, we've got out of must harder things before. 2 men with hand tasers walk up to Oli and i. "Mr and Mrs Queen" says the man in the middle. Oli gives him a death glare. "Did Robert make it to the island?" says the same man. Oli nor i answer, we are both tasered. He asks again, "Did Robert make it to the island?" still no answer from either of us, we are tasered again. The man gives us time to catch our breath back. "Yes he did" we answer. "And what did he tell you guys?" he asks. "He told us, we're gunna kill you" Oli and i chorus.

"You guys are delusional, you're still zip-tied to the chairs" says the man.

"Not any more" Oli says, we show our now free hands to the men.

Oli and i charge for the men, there are 6 overall, and 2 of us. There are guns being shot across the room, soon enough, there are only 2 men left, they run out the building, i signal for Oli to go after them. I go to Tommy, and put 2 fingers on a specific spot on his neck, as he starts to wake up, i leave the room, and go find Oli and the remaining 2 men, i see Oli chasing one, and the other aiming his gun at Oli, i run up a ramp, and jump onto the man, once i've pinned him down, and cuffed him, i go help Oli. "You can never know our secret" Oli says as he breaks his neck. We go get Tommy and go home. Of course Tommy calls the police, and by the time we get home, the police are already waiting.

*10 MINUTES LATER*

"So thats you're story? 2 people, one in a green hood, one in a purple hood, came in and single handedly took out 6 armed men?" asks detective Lance(Laurel and Sara's dad aswell)

"Yep" Oli answers.

"Sounds about right" i add.

"Who are they, why would they do that?" asks Lance. Yep, he hates us.

"I dunno?" Oli replies.

"Find them, and you can ask" I smile.

"And what about you, Tommy Merlyn. Did you see them?" says Lance pulling out a sketch from what Oli and i described.

Oli and i glare at Tommy.

"Everything was a blur, i was sort of out of it" Tommy answers.

"Isn't that funny? One day, and already some one is trying to kill you 2." Lance smirks.

"Your luck never seems to run out does it?" Lance asks.

"I don't find your tone very appropriate detective" mum answers.

"Well, if Oli or Ali remember anything else, we'll get hold of you" Walter replies.

"Call us, we're just a 911 call away" Lance says very sarcastically.

Tommy soon leaves, Oli and i skip dinner, and continue our research on Adam Hunt, and start planning our attack. I wake up at 6am again, Oli actually 'sleeps in' till 7am, i just sit in bed, day dreaming. At 9am, we head outside to go to our dads old factory. But we bump into Mum, Walter and some other man.

"Oli, Ali, i'd like to introduce you to John Diggle, he'll be accompanying you from now on" Mum says. "Mum, we don't need a babysitter" Oli says, i give mum a 'death stare.' John Diggle stands very seriously, crossed armed, i swear he doesn't blink!

"Moira, if they don't feel they need him, they don't have to have him" Walter adds.

"But i need them to. It'll be fine. He's just going to protect you" mum answers.

"Fine" I say.

"Dig's our guy" Oli smiles.

Oli and I get into the back seat of the car. Apparently he's driving us everywhere aswell.

"So" Oli says.

"What do we call you?" i ask.

"Diggle's good, Dig for short" Diggle answers looking in the rear view mirror at us.
