"You still don't get it do you Chancellor," I heard Bellamy obviously direct at Wells. I sighed in frustration and looked up from the stick I was sharpening to see Wells holding a pile of clothing in his hands. He had told me he was going to bury the people that died during the landing, I guess it was their clothes. Wells looked up at Bellamy who had just come out of the dropship, a girl by his side. I had to control my mouth from falling open when I saw how glorious the body Bellamy had on him was. I clenched my jaw but stopped myself from getting up, I had to act like I was on Bellamy's side, or at least stay out of his way. Out of sight, out of mind. Bellamy turned to the girl and kissed her quickly before she walked away, looking rather proud of herself. Wells rolled his eyes which caused a small smile to form on my face. "This is home now. Your father's rules no longer apply." He walked towards Wells and Atom who had been talking to Wells. Bellamy grabbed some of the clothes out of Wells' hands, Wells protested but Atom held him back. I stood in reaction, cursing at myself as it caused Bellamy to glance over at me. A smile started to grow on his face and I could see his eyes challenging me to come to Wells' rescue. I licked my bottom lip and leaned against the tree behind me, just watching them. Bellamy's eyebrow twitch up then he looked back at Wells. "You want it back? Take it." He directed at Wells. Wells had his back turned to me, but I could tell by his posture that he was pissed. After a couple of long seconds Wells stepped back and walked away. Smart. I nodded my head almost in relief, letting my eyes follow him. He threw the rest of the clothes down on the ground and a crowd of people swarmed it like savage animals.

"Is this what you want?" Wells asked Bellamy, who looked slightly doubtful. "Chaos?"

"What's wrong with a little chaos?" Bellamy shrugged off.

Suddenly, I heard a girl scream from behind me and turned quickly to see Murphy holding a girl to the fire. I immediately ran towards him. "Bellamy, so we want the ark to think the earth is killing us right? Figured it would look better if we suffered a little bit first." Murphy said. I was about to yanked the girl away from him but Wells beat me to it. He pushed Murphy hard so that both the girl and him fall backward.

"Get off her!" He yelled at Murphy. Bellamy strolled towards the group, catching Wells' attention. "You can stop this."

"Stop this? I'm just getting started." Bellamy replied. I shook my head and turned to help the girl to her feet. She breathed out a thank you and quickly scurried away. I turned back around just in time to see Murphy land a punch on Wells. My hands automatically clenched into fists but I stayed out of it, just staring daggers at Bellamy. Wells was right, he could stop this, but he wouldn't. The two boys continued to throw sloppy hits at each other. I sighed deeply and marched towards Bellamy. His eyes eventually pulled away from the fight to me. His expression changed slightly, probably due to the pure anger on my face.

"What do you think this is doing?" I asked him, close enough to not draw attention to us. "They are beating each other up because you can't control them." I spat at him. He raised his eyebrows at me and I realised my outburst. I didn't look away but I stopped talking. He stepped towards me about to say something when his eyes were drawn to something behind me. I turned to follow his gaze to find Murphy pulling out his knife. I turned back to Bellamy, a pleading look on my face. He smirked at me then pushed me aside.

"Wait!" He ordered, the two boys looked at him. "Fair fight." He said, handing his own knife to Wells. I felt my eyes widen. What was he doing? I didn't know what to do. I knew what I could do. I knew what I should do. What I couldn't decide what I was actually doing to do. Bellamy walked back toward me, standing close enough to tower over me even though I was hardly shorter than him.

"Whatever the hell they want, whenever the hell they want." He told me. I shook my head at him, but knowing I needed to pipe down before I got him too angry. I turned back to the fight. Murphy lunged at Wells but to my surprise, Wells managed to undercut him and bring the knife to Murphy's neck.
