WARNING: there is smut at the end of this chapter, I marked out where it starts and ends if you want to skip it :) - J. K. Joking
I walked towards the drop ship. The weather was growing wild, people having to hold into the loose material that acted as walls of tents to the ground. Clarke was staring out into the distance, her eyes haunted with worry and hopelessness. As I approached she looked towards me, her eyes finally making contact with some else's. In the background I could hear Raven calling down the line she had made to the Ark, hoping that somehow she would be able to make contact. I was doubtful, but now wasn't the time to tell her that. Clarke turned without saying anything and took a deep breath, walking towards Raven. I followed. "Can anyone hear me?" Raven yelled.
"Are you sure you're on the right frequency?" Clarke asked, her voice slightly hoarse.
"Yeah, I'm sure." Raven snapped at her. Looking over at us, her eyes wild with panic.
"You can do this." Clarke reassured her. Raven nodded slightly before Clarke turned her attention back to Finn. They had placed him down, a cloth carefully wrapped around his wound, the knife still in place.
"Calling Ark Station, are you there? Calling Ark Station." Raven repeated over and over. I just stood there, feeling for the first time in my life, completely hopeless. I wasn't a doctor, I only knew how to treat certain things because they had happened to me. I wasn't a mechanic in any way. There was nothing I could do, and that frustrated me more than you could understand.
"This is a restricted channel, who is this? Please identify yourself" A voice suddenly asked on the other side of the line. Everyone froze in shock, Clarke rushing towards Raven.
"T-This is Raven Reyes, I'm from Meta station. I-I'm transmitting from the ground." Raven answered, her voice unsteady. "The 100 are a live." I felt a slight chill run through my body. Well. The secret is out. "Please, you need to get doctor Abby Griffin, doctor Abby Griffin now!" She yelled, glancing over at Finn's limp body.
"Raven, are you there?" A female voice called. Clarke flinched slightly and Raven looked up at her, waiting for her to answer.
"Mum?" Clarke managed. I felt my eyes widen slightly. "Mum it's me." She said with more confidence.
"Clarke?" Abby's voice choked. Clarke's face hardened.
"Mum I need your help, one of our people was stabbed by a grounder." Clarke explained to her.
"Clarke, this is the Chancellor," Chancellor Jaha's voice stated, my jaw clenching in reaction. "Are you saying there are survivors on the ground?"
"Yes. The Earth is survivable. We're not alone." Clarke told the Chancellor. "Mum he's dying." Clarke directed at her mother over the line. "The knife's still in his chest." Her mother mumbled something to someone on the Ark and Clarke headed over to Finn, preparing herself.
"Clarke." The Chancellor's voice came through the line again. "Is my son still with you." I felt something sting in my chest, my body clenching. Clarke turned towards me, her face falling even more. She shook her head slightly.
"I-I'm so sorry, Well is." Clarke took a shaky breath and looked away from me. "Wells is dead." She finally managed to get out. There was a silence from both the Ark and in the dropship. The only sound was the battering rain and the crackling of the line.
"I'll talk you through step by step." Abby's voice broke the silence with. Clarke nodded, taking a deep breath and looking over at Finn again. Suddenly there was a bang from outside as something fell due to the force of the wind. Abby's voice came through the line but in fragments, making it impossible to make out what she was saying.
