Adonis Smith was your average, mortal. He made little money living in a world full of celestial beings more superior than him. There are Wizards, Elves, Fairies, Lamias, those kind of things. As a blacksmith, Adonis only makes roughly 2 Odimo a day (50 cents). So, this is where we find him, in a musty, dim-lit, eerily-atmosphered library. This place was at the far end of Muspelheim, a land of fire and mystical beings. At the front of the library was a glass case full of strange objects, and behind that desk was a seemingly old man with long silver hair. He slipped past the old man and opened the sliding door behind the counter to retrieve a purple velvet drawstring bag. He carefully opened the bag and placed his hand on a smooth glassy surface. with a puzzled look on his face, Adonis pulled out what looked like a massive opalescent marble. This thing ought to be worth something. As he turned to face the door and leave, he was startled by the librarian standing right in front of him. With a devilish grin on his face, the librarian whispered "It chose you.". As soon as Adonis was about to question the old man, the globe lit up and burned the palms of his hand. Adonis swiftly dropped the globe and passed out.
