As I walked down the crowded hallway, I feel as if everything is in slow motion. Cliques and couples surrounding me, and I'm all alone. Ever since my boyfriend broke up with me...no one has talked to me. Unless it was to insult or threaten me for no reason.

"Move out my fcking way, mop head, or I'll beat the sh*t out of you!" a guy yelled, shoving me out of his way. I tripped up and nearly fell into a girl who was standing at her locker.

"Hey, watch it you dumbass!" the girl shouted, giving me a rough push.

"I-I'm sorry..." I said softly, lowering my head down as I continued to walk down the hallway.

¬

"Harry...?" I hear a soft voice coaxingly whisper. I toss and turn.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to-"

"Harry!" the gentle voice says urgently, and I immediately wake up, tears streaming ever so lightly down my face. Louis is crouching down beside my bed, a concerned look on his face.

"Bad dream?" Louis whispers knowingly, his eyes sincere. I nod my head and let out a few sniffles. "...On a scale from 1 to 10, rate your level of sadness, Harry." I look into Louis' bright eyes. Even though the room is dark, I can still see an intense blue due to the light from the moon shining through the window.

"...Five..." I say, trying to calm down by taking a deep breath. Louis stares at me, his expression soft and caring.

"Would cuddling suffice to improve your state of emotion?" Louis asks me kindly, reaching his hand to my face and wiping my tears. Well, wiping isn't exactly the right word. The tears just seemed to disappear, Louis barely touching my face. "Cuddles always make me feel better." Louis smiles, cupping my cheek with his soft hand.

"Yes...I would like to cuddle with you, Louis..." I blushingly answer. "If that's okay with you..." Louis gets up from his crouched position, taking off his jacket, shoes, and jeans.

"Of course it's okay, silly." Louis winks, giving me a bright smile. My heart skips a beat. "I am your P.H.C., and it's my job to do whatever I can to ensure that you're happy."

I find myself staring at Louis as he walks to the other side of my bed, pulls the covers back, and gets inside.

"Big spoon, or little spoon...?" Louis whispers, letting his head hit the pillow. I blush, avoiding eye contact with him.

"Little spoon..." I reply, looking back at Louis with a shy smile. Louis' eyes twinkle as I lie down.

"That's the first time I've seen you smile." Louis says as I turn my back to him, getting myself situated in a comfortable position. Louis slides his left arm over me, pulling me close to him. "...I hope it won't be the last." Louis whispers into my ear, running his right hand through my head of curls. I feel as if my heart is going to burst.

Louis' so nice...so caring...so lovely...

"As long as you're around, Louis...it definitely won't be my last..." I say quietly, closing my eyes in content.

"That makes me ecstatic to hear, Harry..." Louis whispers, his right hand resting softly on my head. "I hope now you'll have sweet dreams..."

Slowly I begin to dose off, and Louis' words stay deep within my mind.

¬

My loud alarm clock goes off, waking me up with a jolt. I sigh, realizing it is school time. But that isn't the only thing I realized.

Louis isn't beside me in the bed anymore.

"Louis..." I say in a groggy voice. In an instant, Louis is running up the stairs and into my room. I furrow my eyebrows. "How did you hear me call you if you were all the way downstairs...?" Louis gives me a soft smile.

"I have enhanced senses, and inhuman attributes." he answers.

"So you are a robot..." I say, and Louis playfully rolls his eyes.

"Nope. I'm a human P.H.C."

"So there are robot P.H.C.'s?"

"No!" Louis exclaims with a laugh. "Anyway, come downstairs, curly. I made you breakfast before you go to school." I yawn and stretch my arms as I get out of my bed.

"Thanks so much, Louis." I say with a grin, and Louis coos.

"You smiled again!" Louis says, his voice cheerful. I walk up to him and give him a hug. Immediately his arms wrap around my waist, and I rest my head on his shoulder.

"You made me happy again." I reply, my heartbeat seeming to increase.

Louis is making me feel a way that I've never felt before, and that scares me because I don't know how things will end...
