Harry's P.O.V.

Louis and I finished up our pancakes quickly, and after a few more preparations and Louis getting dressed, we headed off to the bus stop. I stick close to Louis, enjoying the smell of his masculine cologne. He smells as divine as he looks...

Darn it.

I'm gaining a crush on my P.H.C.

Well, I'm not gonna tell him any time soon, I don't want him to leave me...

We make it to the bus stop, and immediately all eyes linger to Louis in interest.

Surprise surprise.

Well, Louis is mine and only mine. I don't plan on sharing.

"Ooh, who's your friend, curly?" Shelby asks, her hazel eyes shinning and staring at Louis. I roll my eyes at her, and Louis shifts closer to me, uncomfortable by the blonde's stare

"Why should I tell you anything when you don't even know my name?" I asked Shelby, taking a glance at Louis.

Shelby scoffs, rolling her eyes at me before she steps forward towards Louis. Louis, to my satisfaction, steps away from her.

"Harry doesn't seem to like you very much, so I am sorry, but I refuse to entertain you." Louis says confidently, and I beam at him.

Shelby huffs angrily, puts her middle finger up at Louis and I, and then walks back to her group of friends. Louis looks at me with a small smile.

"So, who was that? I reckon you don't care for her very much, do you, love?" Louis' smooth voice asks me, and I stare at him, lost in my fantasies...

"Uhm, Harry, are you alright?" Louis asks, his facial expression changing quickly. "Scale from 1 to 10-"

"Zero, Louis," I say softly with a smile, assuring him that I'm okay and not upset about anything. "I just -"

My sentence then gets interrupted by the roar of the school bus. I sigh internally.

"Nevermind, Louis." I say, ushering him to follow me onto the bus. He has a slight frown on his precious lips.

Maybe he wanted to hear what I was gonna say?

Honestly, I shouldn't have been trying to say it anyway. Louis doesn't need to know I'm quite infatuated with him.

At least not right now.

Louis' P.O.V.

I am wondering why Harry didn't tell me what he was going to say...

Is he upset with me, but just doesn't know how to tell me?

I frown as I follow Harry onto the bus. It's jam packed, and the only seats open are ones in the front.  Harry sits down quickly, avoiding eye contact with everyone. I sit down in the seat with him, and flash him a quick smile. Harry avoids eye contact with me too, though.

My heart sinks.

"Harry, tell me what you were gonna say earlier, please?" I ask him, putting a friendly hand on his knee. Harry tenses, and continues to stare out the window as the bus begins its departure.

I furrow my eyebrows sadly, removing my hand from his knee. That catches his attention, and he turns to me quickly.

"What's on your mind, Harry? Don't leave me in the dark." I plead, staring into his eyes intently.

Harry shakes his head at me softly. "Nothing, Louis. I swear." Harry assures me, his eyes seeming to peer into my soul.

Almost as if he's searching for something.

That's when I get the idea to scan him.

He won't tell me what's wrong, so I have no choice but to dig for the information on my own. Harry smiles at me with false assurance before turning his attention back to the window. I scan his mind and subconscious quickly, and I'm more than surprised with what I just found out.

Harry has a crush on me?

I smile triumphantly, and my heart beats a little faster. I hesitantly place my hand on Harry's, and he turns to me with questioning wide eyes.

I'm not gonna tell him I know how he feels, because he isn't even surely positive himself. I should probably just act normally until Harry decides that he wants things to change.

Yeah, that is probably best.

I take my hand off of his and say an apology. "Sorry, I just wanted to make sure you were alright." I tell him, and we smile at each other.

"Thanks, Louis. I'm fine, I swear." Harry assures, and I nod.
