Song: insecure - Shane

Hello again,
I know that my chapters are really short but i don't want to drag on for ages about something stupid like his furniture. When I first wrote this book I made the chapters really short and now i cant make them longer without joining chapters together or dragging on for ages. The chapters get longer throughout the book! Btw the songs are usually unrelated to the chapter I probably just like them.
Side note I almost name this chapter 'eats fires'

-East fires-

The hazy fog becomes clearer as I start regaining consciousness. Hearing snippets of conversation and movements. Light as coming back I started wriggling trying to bring feeling back to my body. Freezing when I hear voices around me. At least I think I stopped moving I couldn't feel my body yet. I decided against waking up trying instead to orientate myself, whilst pretended to still be asleep. I begin eavesdropping into the conversation of the people around when I hear a voice say "she's been out for 4 hours now, maybe she's fallen into a comma?"
"Nah, don't be dramatic it's probably fine. Check her reflexes, like shine light in her eyes. If her pupils dilate she's fine."
"she was pretending to be asleep and then slipped out of my grasp and tried to run but just hit her head on the floor," I groan to myself at my stupid idea.
Suddenly I hear someone climb over the seats to the back before one of my eyelids are pulled open and a flashlight is shone directly into it. I roll my eyes into the back of my head to avoid the light and try to close my eyes again. Turning my head in the person's grip I let out a muffled groan in pain.
Surprised at the length I have been asleep for, it has only felt like a few minutes . Hearing me someone else says "I see your awake. Finally!" With my eyes open I push his hand away from my head completely. Then before I could break out of my trance someone rested there hand on my leg making me jump slightly. I shuffle into a corner of the car set giving me a chance to look around the car.

I stay there, with a man sitting next to me watching me until we pull into a driveway and a bag is pulled over my head.

The next time I could look around I was in a room that was painted completely white with a navy blue desk in one corner with a small mirror next to it. I was now sitting on a single bed with a blanket and pillow lazily sprawled across it. The bedspread was light grey, opposite the mirror where 2 doors one of which I assumed lead to a bathroom. The other one probably leading to a hallway.

"Hey sweets, you finally get to see my face," a man says from the corner of the room, he is wearing dark grey tracksuit bottoms and a loose navy blue hoodie. He had dull hazel eyes with wavy black hair that was wrapped loosely around his head.

"Who are you? Why am I here?" I finally spit out after I finished looking around. He only smiles knowingly and calmly replies " 'm names Mason, 'm the boss around here. You may have heard of us. 'East fires' ring a bell?" I stiffen, looking up my jaw clenching and eyes wide.

He's thought to be like the king around this town. Well more like a dictator, his gang grew suddenly a few years back. Some believe they came into town a couple of years back but most knew they had always been here and just decided to take over. "I'm sorry?" I whisper back, "for whatever I've done. I didn't know I was doing anything against you but I promise I'll make it right, please don't kill me-" before I can finish my sentence he interrupts me.

"Shut up... Don't test my patience. You're here and there is nothing to get you out right now, I'm being polite don't make me take that back so just tell me how your feeling?" I don't know what to say. Trying my best to not completely freak out as doing that will seem like I have a death wish. I decide that answering with a simple "okay? I guess." will suffice.
