You and Daehyun have been friends for so long. Your parents passed away when you were young and you had to live alone. Your parents passed away when you were about 16, so you were matured enough to take care of yourself. But you sometimes needed someone else help for chores and others. And wheneveryou were in need of help, Daehyun’s mom was always there for you. She always went to your house and helped you cook and clean the house. Then she would buy clothes for you whenever she goes shopping. You actually found his mom like your mom and felt really comfortable around her.
It was on Friday. You were at school. You were just on your desk and then suddenly your teacher called you out. You followed her out. Then she asked, “Have you.. ever thought of studying abroad?”. You asked, “Pardon?”. Your teacher said, “We teachers, have decided to send you to America for your future. You will have more oppurtunity to...”. You smiled and interupted, “Thank you, but i cant.”. Your teacher asked, “Why not? It’s a good oppurtunity.”. You said, “There is no reason for me to go.”. Your teacher smiled and said, “Well. You said you want to be a famous fashion designer, didnt you? All the teachers thought you were the student with high possiblity to go to America and actually succeed. You have the best scores of our school, and your records are amazingly high and excellent. You dont want to miss this chance.”. You hesitated for a while. Your teacher said, “Also.. your parents... they are watching you from above and if they were alive, im sure they would ask you to go. You dont get great chances like this easily.”. You were lost in thought. You asked, “Will it be okay if i think about it first and tell you tomorrow?”. Your teacher smiled and said, “Remember, its a great oppurtunity.”. You smiled and went back to your class. You sat down and your bestie came and asked, “What did she want?”. You said, “She asked me to go to America to study...”. Your friend smiled and said, “OMG dude!! You are damn lucky, girl. Not everyone can do that. You are damn lucky.”. You sighed. Then your friend said, “Go. You need to go. And i am sure your parents wants you to go.”. You looked at your friend and said, “Naww thanks. You are the best” and you hugged her. Then suddenly Daehyun came running and he was hugging you guys too. You looked up and asked, “What the hell are you doing.”. Daehyun said, “I thought we were getting some free hugs?”. You and your friend laughed. Then you went back to the sad mode. Daehyun asked, “Dude, whats the matter?”. You didnt want him to know, cos you and him are really close, and you didnt want him to feel disappointed since you think him as your older brother. But your friend, without knowing anything said, “She is going to America. Teachers are sending her to America to study abroad.”. Daehyun looked at you and asked, “Really?”. You rolled your eyes and just looked down. Daehyun suddenly held your hand and dragged you outside the classroom. You were standing, just looking down. You peeked up and Daehyun was just staring at you. You said, “Don’t worry.. i’m thinking of not going.. i dont wanna leave you guys”. Daehyun smiled and he put his hands on your shoulder and said, “Of course you have to go. You have to. This is your chance to actually change your life. Don’t you want to be a proud daughter for your parents who are watching you above?”. You looked at him. You felt so touched. You were starting to tear up, and you said, “Naw thanks bro” and you hugged him. Daehyun patted you on the back and said, “Just be careful in America, but you will do fine, since you are good in English haha”. You looked up and said, “thanks. best bro ever.”. Daehyun smiled and said, “Lets go in.”.
After school, you headed to the office and told your teacher that you will be going to America.
Then you were walking home. When you reached home, Daehyun’s mom was there, cleanign the floor. You ran to her and hugged her. She asked, “Did something happen at school?”. You smiled and said, “Noo i just missed youuuu”. Then she let you go and looked at you. She asked, “Whats wrong?”. You were just looking for a minute, then you smiled and asked, “I’m so hungry~ Do you want to eat dinner? Can i go to your house?”. She smiled and said, “Alright lets go then”.
