Okay, wow it's a miracle! I actually updated. Yeah I don't even know how long it's been. I'm incredibly sorry to anyone who has been reading from the start, because I know how annoying it is when someone doesn't update a story you've been reading and I'll be surprised if you haven't deleted it from your library already. So, I think this chapter is sort of? long. Haha I don't even know.

I've been writing this chapter for ages, it's just taken forever to finish it because I'm lazy. I guess this is an apology and a thank you for those of you reading, it means a lot to have people reading my work. So here is the next chapter! Woo

I saw Skye ahead of me, waiting on the corner. I flashed a smile at her and she grinned, noticing me. I reached her and leant forward hugging her. "Hi." I spoke, breaking the silence.

"Hi, how are you today then?" she replied happily. I just shrugged, pulling out of the hug, giving her a knowing smile. "Same as always of course, nothing changes." Skye laughed knowing that I hope every single day that someone will show even the slightest bit of kindness to me. "You know they won't ever change Soph, it's not worth hoping for something that won't happen.", she told me sympathetically.

"I know, I know, there's nothing wrong with hoping though." I smiled weakly, knowing really what she said was nothing but the truth.

"So are you going to explain what happened yesterday? You had me really worried!"

I grimaced, reminded of yesterday's events. "Yeah sorry about that, a lot of strange things happened, I think I heard Elsa's voice in my head. Can you believe it?"

We had started walking now and Skye stopped suddenly, her head whipping round, facing my direction. "WHAT?" she gasped. A shocked expression was plastered over her face. She looked at me like I was a maniac. "Are you okay, you haven't started going crazy have you? Oh my God your going to have to go to a hospital aren't you? I've read about this before - people start hearing voices in their head!" Skye started rambling to herself panicked.

I laughed at Skye's panicked expression. "It's going to be fine Skye don't worry, I don't know what's going on at the moment, but I'm sure I'm not going crazy!" I reassured her, surprisingly calm. I don't know how I'm holding it together at the moment, I suppose it seems so unreal I just can't believe it yet. I will have to soon though - I can't avoid it unfortunately.

"Oh phew. You had me so worried there!" Skye replied. She grew silent and frowned - deep in thought. Who could blame her? It's not everyday your best friend tells you that your sworn enemy's voice is somehow appearing in her head. Poor Skye. I haven't the slightest clue how she manages to cope with all the abnormal things in my life - it would be too much for some people. Skye has always been pretty acceptant though - I mean look at our friendship, she was one of the few people that bothered with me - even after hearing all the bad gossip and rumours that spread around the school like wildfire.

"Sophia this is so amazing do you know what it means?" Skye practically screeched in my face. "What?" I asked hesitantly, moving slightly away from her as we continued walking, in case she decided to freak again. Apparently my judgement was correct as her following sentences confirmed my prediction.

"YOU ARE GOING TO SHOW THEM NOW - PROVE TO THEM YOU'RE NOT AN IDIOT LIKE THEY THINK, THIS IS SO AMAZING!" Her face lit up in delight.

"YOUR GOING TO PROVE ALL OF THEM WRONG, YOU ARE SPECIAL!" Skye hollered excitedly, jumping up and down, attracting the attention of some bystanders who glanced confused at the two school girls.

"Okay, okay, whatever you say. I'm not even one hundred percent sure that my suspicions are correct myself yet." I replied.

"Oh come on Soph, believe in yourself for once!" Skye sighed. I frowned, but took it in and reassured myself. "Okay, look I think I might have Alpha blood in me, it's the only logical explanation for the early signs of my first shift." I explained hoping Skye wouldn't freak again. "Wait, so your telling me that your parents could be Alphas?" Skye asked excited. "Yeah I suppose so." I answered.
