Motivating DIYs and Tips
A lot of times I find myself struggling to get healthier. Either I'm too lazy, or I just don't know how to start. I've been reading a lot of motivational quotes, and I'd like to share the ones I think help best. I'll also share two DIYs that I thought were awesome.
Tip #1:
Drink eight glasses of water each day. I have very bad acne, and me drinking water has helped my skin clear a little. There is one very easy way to do this. It's a DIY.
Supplies-
Plastic WaterBottle (preferably not dark colored)
A Sharpie (or permanent marker)
All you have to do is mark bottle with 8 or more short lines horizontally. Next, label them with a time. This helps you know when and how much water to drink. It's kind of hard to explain this, so I linked a YouTube video that shows you how to make this plus some extra workout ideas.
Tip #2:
Depending on the food that you will be eating throughout the day, you may want to try this. Put every separate meal and snack into a ziplock bag. Then label each back with what's inside each one so you don't forget. This will help you stay on that food and not go searching for other food. It's like keeping a schedule or task, you'll be stubborn to keep on that "diet".
DIY:
This DIY literally helped me so so so so SO much.
Supplies-
Paper (I also like using sticky notes)
Tape
Scissors
Markers/Something to write with
First, begin with either cutting paper into squares or using sticky notes. Start of with writing your current weight onto a square. Continue writing decreasing numbers onto a sticky note/square paper. Do this until you get to the number of your weight goal.
Tape or place the papers onto a wall. Then get a sheet of paper and right your weight goals. For example; Halloween:150 Thanksgiving:140 Christmas:125 etc. Tape that next to the squares.
Then grab another sheet of paper and write down a reward for everytime you lose weight. i.e. 140 pounds = Ice Cream party or 135= New Phone Case, etc. This will motivate you to lose weight and feel accomplished when you do so.
