Resistance

Sunday morning and I was up at 8:30 !!

I got dressed quickly and grabbed my bag, I was walking to catch the underground to get to London centre, I was spending the whole day working in "Treble Notes" londons no.1 radio station, recording studio and music store

It was a dream come true and once I stepped off the underground into London I felt at home

I saw the shop across the street and, fixing my hair, I walked in

I instantly heard titanium by David guetta playing, and I looked up to see a man sitting in the radio room, playing tracks

The place was amazing

He left a few tracks running and came down to me

"Hello, you must be Sophie ? I'm David " he said in an extremely strong London accent and stuck his hand out for me

I shook it gladly

"Yes I'm Sophie, I can't wait to begin !" I smiled

"Well as its only your first time here, you'll just be stacking CDs today to get to know the place but on Monday evening, you and the other guy working here, will be running the Monday night shift of treble.fm, if you do well, you will get one night a week to run it, if you do crap, it's back to stacking CDs :) it all depends on your listening ratings I'm afraid :)" he laughed

I stood there in shock

"Running treble.fm ?? Wow !!" I said

" well lets first show you the ropes, the other guy is late so we will have to begin without him" David said

Before I could reply I heard the ding of the bell as the door opened

"Sorry I'm late I missed the underground" said a male voice

I turned around to see Charlie standing there

Memories from yesterday afternoon came flooding back and I instantly began blushing

"Sophie ?" He said, surprised yet smiling

"You two know each other ?? Great I expect good teamwork now lets get to this .." David said

Charlie just grinned at me but remembering what mads had said I ignored him

David showed us around the place from the cd store to the recording studio

I tried on the beats they had in the studio room and sung a "la" into the microphone and it sounded amazing !

"This is my dream" Charlie said, gazing up around the place

I just glanced at him, putting the beats back down and heading back to the cd area

"Right so, you know what to do ? Lunch break is at 12 till 1:30 , don't be late and enjoy yourself !"David said, before walking back upstairs to the radio room

Two seconds later I heard him talking to the whole country via treble.fm

"And we've got Sophie and Charlie taking over tomorrow night's Monday music mess so don't miss out on a great night !!" David chuckled, causing both me and Charlie to blush

"Wow" I said, carrying a pile of new one direction CDs to put out

" I know, I can't wait for tomorrow night !" Charlie grinned ,putting Bastille CDs out and putting old take that classics to the back

" Hey don't put those to the back I still listen to them !!" I Argued

Charlie just laughed and out them in my pile
