Ollie and I ran back to the dorms and walked in on a mid fight between Maddy and Jenny
"Well, you can't keep leaving the milk out every time you make tea " Maddy whined
"You think you seem to know everything just because you're older ! You are such a stuck up bitch!!" Jenny screamed and went off to her room
Ollie looked at me in confusion and I just gave him the "don't go there" glare and he shut up quick
We sat down at the kitchen table and began talking about the whole situation
"It really doesn't make any sense !! " Ollie complained
"What doesn't make any sense ?" Maddy asked, pulling up a chair to join the conversation
Charlie and Lucas came barging through the door suddenly
"What's going on !! We heard screaming ?? Are you okay Sophie ?" Charlie said, looking at me in concern
Maddy suspiciously wondered over the sight of affection shown by her brother and brushed it off getting back to the point
"Yes everything's fine, pull up a chair, now Ollie what were you saying ??" Maddy said
"Okay well basically when I was around 8 my parents left me to live with my grandparents and they never came back and on my 18th birthday I was left a box saying some random stuff and I got a entry form for this college, and Sophie found this picture of her dad and mine winning the Wilton Tennis Open in the trophy case with their trophies, yet both our fathers went to different universities and then we found out that Sophie's parents left her in France with her grandparents too and she got te same box as me !!" Ollie explained
The flashing of looks between Maddy ad Charlie from across the table was electrifying
"Okay guys this is seriously weird.... We had the exact same thing.. We were born in London, always lived here but when I was around 9 and Charlie was 8 they left at the end of summer and never came back and we have lived with our grandparents and helped out at they cafe ever since and we got a box to share and everything !! " Maddy said, looking nervous
Everyone looked at Lucas and he nodded in agreement
"We all have some strange connection I guess .... But what is it ?? And why the five of us ???" I wondered out loud
"Make that the six of us.." Jenny smiled, pulling up a chair
"You aswell ??" Maddy snorted
"Yeah, why else did you think I was living with my grandparents last summer ??" She huffed
"Look if we want to figure out what's going on, the first key is we are going to have to all get along " Lucas sighed
"Yes, please Maddy can we just end this ??" Jenny pleaded
Maddy thought for a minute and then cracked a smile
"All forgiven, wooooh " Ollie clapped
"Okay guys sorry to break up the party but, Sophie we've got work at 8 ??" Charlie said dryly
"Oh shit !! We have to go !! We will meet up at Starbucks for lunch tomorrow to discuss this, 1 o'clock and bring any information you might find useful !!!" I shouted grabbing my bag and legging it down the stairs pulling charlie down after me
"This is all REALLY strange !!" I laughed
"I know, I guess we have more in common then I thought " Charlie grinned
"And I thought we just randomly met up by fate at the station " I giggled
"I like the idea of us having some weird connection, it makes me feel like you aren't going to go off somewhere and never return" Charlie said
