Morning Surprises

Mal's POV 

I woke up the next morning with the sunlight pouring into the room. Looking straight into the light was almost blinding but not enough to fall back asleep. I suddenly realized I was laying in Ben's bed still in my party dress from last night. Me and Ben stayed up for quite a long time talking about a bunch of stuff. Mostly about him and how things are going to be with him being king but some about me and going to school. I sat up for a moment only to remember Ben was still sleeping next to me. I laid back down but this time closer to him and played with the buttons on his shirt. I remembered what we kinda talked about last night and decided to take a risk.

His breathing was steady and beautifully calm as I kept unbuttoning each and every button. Once his shirt was open revealing his perfectly toned chest I began planting tiny kisses up until I got up to his neck. I glanced up every so often to see if he was waking up but nothing. So, I moved up his neck to his cheek and finally landed on his mouth giving him a sweet kiss on the lips. Still not getting a response from the sleepy king I kissed him so hard and pulled a hand on his belt and I pretended to fumble around with it. Soon enough his eyes shot open and noticed me kissing him so he joined in to my surprise. I got kinda flustered when he began to reciprocate with the kiss but I just went with it. We released from our kiss. I smiled slightly and asked "Did you like your wake up call King Benjamin Florian?" He laughed a little, rubbed my sides and responded "Oh yes I did Princess Mal Bertha, is this gonna be a regular call cause I know for sure I'd never be late for lessons with that call." I laughed and smirked saying "Well unless your parents are ok with me sleeping with you every night I don't think that's gonna happen." He pouted and said "We'll just see about that." He leaned up and kissed me once again. Pulling me towards him so I was laying on his bare chest I began increasing the kiss, that is until a knock came at the door. 

We quickly released from our kiss and Ben called out "Who is it?" Without an immediate answer we didn't know who it was until the door spung open and Belle and Adam called saying "We just came to formally congratulate you on your coronation..." They stopped in there tracks when they spotted me on the bed straddling Ben who was practically shirtless. I stared back at them embarrassed by our state but somehow I knew this was coming. They started talking to each other so I got off of Ben and stood up to straighten my dress and fix my messy bed head. Ben walked over to me and whispered in my ear "It's fine, don't be embarrassed." They turned back to both of us and said "Ben I think its best if Mal gets back to her room." I shook my head ok and looked at Ben saying "It's fine, good luck." I kissed him sweetly and walked out of the room. 

As I headed back to the dorm I thought about how much weirder that could have been. I slowly opened the door to me and Evie's dorm only to find Evie sitting criss-crossed on her bed with a worried look on her face. I shut the door as quietly as I could only for it to squeak snapping Evie out of he daze and come running over to me. She immediately bumbarded me with questions on what happened with Ben last night but I refused to tell her any of the juicy secrets other than the fact that we kissed. She squealed with excitement at that part but wouldn't stop asking me about the night. To be honest it was all kinda a blur to me. It just felt like staying up all night talking to my closest friend and it just felt right. I'm so glad Ben's my boyfriend.
