Decision Time

~Almost a month later~

Mal's POV 

I was starting to worry about what to do about everything. From the mood swings to the constant need to throw up after every meal. I couldn't even think about my stomach getting bigger anytime sooner. I haven't even told Ben yet but I know he's worried. We haven't had sex since I found out and I think he's noticing. More than a couple times I've walked in on him relieving himself, no big deal but still I wish I could tell him. I just don't want him to hate the fact that I kept this from him for as long as I did. I don't really think he wants a baby right now and neither do I. Don't feel like repeating the villain cycle with an heir to the Auradon throne. I walked to my locker with my books in my hands wrapped around my chest. Just trying to make it through one day not throwing up on my way to Spells and Potions. As I was fixing my books and grabbing the ones I need for the next two classes I was suddenly surprised by none other than Evie. She was so excited it was so noticeable within her starry eyes and sweet smile that just wouldn't go away. She spoke saying "Doug asked me to meet his parents this Saturday for a family dinner and I'm actually really excited about it." I shut my locker and began walking towards class saying to her "I'm happy for you E things are starting to work out for you and Doug and its great." I was really happy for Evie but I was trying so hard not to focus on my urge to purge my lunch up right before our class. I was trying my best to make sure Evie wasn't noticing my struggles but she was too wrapped up in her own joy that she could see me holding my hands to my mouth. This is gonna be hard I know it.

~later that day in Ben's room~

I was just sitting criss cross on Ben's bed trying to study for my English test coming up when Ben decided it was the perfect time to come through the door and jump on the bed scaring the crap out of me. When he flopped down into a sitting position he smiled with glee while I took my study guide and smacked him upside the head with it say sternly "You scared me can't you see I'm trying to study here for a very important test, ugh." Ben kinda chuckled and then said "Ok miss meany Mal but it was just a fun surprise don't take it too seriously babe." With that he lifted himself off the bed gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and headed off into the bathroom. I sighed with distress cause I didn't mean to yell at him like that I guess it was just my hormones getting in the way again. Ugh why is being pregnant so frustrating when it comes to your moods. Moments later Ben came back and began studying some paperwork from the kingdom. He sat in the arm chair next to the bed. I looked up from my work to see him sitting away from me I sighed sweetly and began packing my things away since I was pretty sick of studying. I put my bag on the floor and went over to Ben sitting on the arm of the chair. I moved my hand through his hair and kissed the side of his head whispering in his ear "I'm sorry I yelled at you Benny boo, I'm just stressed about all the work I have left before the final exams in the next month." He placed his papers on the side table and moved me into his la. I was playing with the buttons on his shirt while Ben was stroking up and down my sides moving my shirt up in the process. I was too in a daze to notice that my stomach was almost completely revealed and Ben was staring down at it in shock. I gazed into his eyes only to spot the fury in his eyes as he now knew the secret I had been hiding.
