Chapter 7: 'Runaway'

Intervention (Brooklyn's P.O.V):
I was studying my notes for French when Trevor texted me.

-Hey I know your at school and all but I really need to talk to you. It's kinda important.-

I wasn't sure if I should text him back, but then I thought if it was Trevor who said something was important then it's important. I asked my intervention teacher if I could use the bathroom, but I didn't really have to go. I walked into the bathroom and fixed my hair then I texted Trevor back.

-Okay, i'm in the bathroom we can talk now hehe.-
He replied instantly.
-I really have something to tell you.-
-What is it?-
-Ugh i'm not even sure I should say it...-
-Trevor just say it.-
-It's been bugging me all day...-
-TREVOR-
-Ok ok haha, i'll tell you. Brooklyn, I think I like you.-
He what?! Trevor can't like me! This can't be true! I mean I like him but I also like Cameron. Ugh why?!

Intervention (Raegan's P.O.V)
-So how's your day so far?-
Kian asked me. We started texting cause I got bored doing Brooklyn's homework.
-Ehh it's okay, I get to go to lunch in about 15 minutes. Once I get food, i'll be good haha.-
-Haha. I was thinking that maybe when you get out of school we could go see a movie or something?-
-Kian we can't. If Connor or Ricky start asking questions or getting suspiscious we could both be introuble. It might even affect my adoption.-
-I think we should tell them, Brooklyn already knows.-
-Yeah but they would know to if I didn't agree to do Brooklyn's homework for a month. Let's just keep us a secret for a little, you have to admit that it's kinda hot. ;)-
-Your kinda hot ;)-

-Hey babe I gotta go, Jc and I are going to go film a video so i'll talk to you later. Have a good rest of your day and i love you so much <3-
-Okay thank you and I love you to Kian :* <3-
I smiled to myself then put my phone in my back pocket. I had 5 minutes till lunch. I'm so fucking hungry ughh.

After lunch in French (Brooklyn's P.O.V):
"Okay so have you guys came up with anything for the project?" Raegan asked Jake, Cameron and I. I shook my head and doodled on my paper.
"Nope." Cameron said, I did a little smile and kept drawing.
"Come on guys, we have to think of something." Jake said and I rolled my eyes.
"Jake's right. If you guys don't start working today Jake and I are working alone, maybe then we will get stuff done." Raegan said, I looked up from my paper and huffed, then I set my pencil down and set my head on my hands.
"So tell me Raegan do you have a good idea? I mean we do have to start working today don't we?" I asked Raegan, she rolled her eyes and I smirked.

After School:
I was on my phone walking down the hall to see Jc and Kian because they are picking Raegan and I up from school today, Raegan ran up to me and started walking with me.

"You didn't have to get all bitchy with me in French." Raegan said, I rolled my eyes and put my phone in my back pocket then I looked at her.
"Yeah well I guess I am pretty bitchy." I said and turned to face students and teachers walking in different directions to leave the building.
"Come'on Brooklyn, you know I didn't mean to call you that." Raegan said, I let out a little laugh.
"Yeah sure you didn't." I said, Raegan stopped in the hallway but I just kept walking. I was just ready to get home.

At Home: (Raegan's P.O.V):
"Are you and Brooklyn okay with each other? Like your not having any problems with her or anything?" Kian asked me, I huffed then turned to look at him.
"Why?" I asked him.
"Because I just don't want her to say anything about us." Kian said and I rolled my eyes.
"Is that all you care about? Is if we are gonna get caught? If you are just man up and tell them! For fuck's sake Kian!" I yelled at him, he frowned then started playing with his hands. I heard someone coming up the stairs and then Ricky came into my room.
"Is everything okay? I heard yelling." Ricky said and he looked at me then Kian. Kian got up from the bed and started walking towards Ricky.
"Raegan and I are dating." Kian said and Ricky had a suprised look on his face.
"Were dating, as in not anymore." I said and rolled my eyes then I walked out of the room. Tears started coming down my cheeks as I walked down the stairs. I kept walking until I bumped into Jc.
"Whoa is everything okay?" Jc asked me, as if he even cared.
"Yeah." I lied. "Can you just let me go please?" I asked him, he nodded his head then I ran out of the front door. I didn't know where there was to go because I had literally no where to go. But I will find a place, some place away from Kian and even Brooklyn.

I finally found a place, it was an empty house with a tree house in the backyard. I climbed up and into the tree house then I sat down. I was completely and utterly alone. I've always liked being alone because I was alone mostly my entire life. My mom was never there for me and neither was my dad. My dad was always drunk and would hit me all the time, when my mom came home she was as drunk as my dad. It was the point where I left them, then Delta found me and brought me to her orphanage. I met a girl that was just like me, she had runaway from her parents just like me and they were also drunks. She was my only friend for as long as I can remember, she was always there for me when I needed her or when she needed me. Her name is Brooklyn.
