Chapter Three: Day Two

"There I was, thought I had everything figured out."

~William's POV~

It's a good thing we exchanged numbers. We texted each other until nightfall. Halos hambalusin nako ng upuan ni Tito dahil sa ngiti kong daig pa ang model ng toothpaste kanina habang nagdi-dinner.

"Nakahanap ka na agad ng source of happiness mo. Share share!" Sabi ni Tito. Tumawa naman si Tita Rachel.

When I woke up in the morning, binuksan ko agad ang phone ko. No text message. I was disappointed.

I washed my face and dragged my way to the kitchen to fix myself a breakfast. Only to discover my breakfast sitting on the sofa, watching a music channel.

"Good Morning William. I like your hair." Shit kagigising ko lang pala. Insulto ba yun?

"Good Morning too Marco." I like everything about you.

"Now you should eat. And prepare yourself. We'll go out in 30 minutes. Your uncle put me in charge again. So here I am again, taking advantage of you. Err. Your television." He laughs meticulously.

I swear I'm always lost for words. "Okay I'll be quick."

~Marco's POV~

Just when he turned his heel to go and prepare, my cellphone blasted my super awkward ringtone.

*Sandy Calling*

Why? Why would she?

I swiped to answer. "Hello."

"Uhm. Hi Marco. I'm really really sorry about the other day, I'm just confused. I have now realized it's all you that can make me happy." She sighed. "I'm really really sorry, can we go back to where we left off?"

I thinked. Hesitated. Then I found my answer. "Okay. I hope I don't bring you any tears no more."

"Thank you baby. I love you."

"Ditto."

I felt my soul lit up, then smiled to myself. Maybe she learned that we are so compatible, it's hard to let go.

~William's POV~

When I was finally done with the usual rituals of grooming myself, I went back to the living room. Then saw my breakfast happier than we first met.

Could it be me that made him lit up like that? I shook off the thought and wore my best smile before approaching him.

"Now. Where will you take me?" I offered my hand so he would have support to stand up. His warm palm came contact with my sweaty ones and somehow ignited a spark.
