Chapter Twelve: The Last Day
"Coz in the daylight we'll be on our own, but tonight I'm gonna hold you so close.."
~Marco's POV~
He was snuggled up in my arms like an embryo, snoring softly. His eyelashes were extraordinarily long that it would be mistaken for false eyelashes.
12 hours more. I can't bear letting him go. After all the things we did together and the feelings we have for each other, it was unbearable to slip away.
I shook him and he opened his eyes. Smiling widely as ever.
"What should we do today? I don't feel like travelling to anywhere." He mumbled. Shaking the sleep off of his state.
"Let's go and swim." I suggested.

While waiting for him downstairs, I glanced down on my wrist watched and let out a tiny gasp. The seconds-hand is not moving.
Not bothering to think about it further, I just shook it off and made a mental note to change the batteries later.
He went off the elevator with a dashing smile and the same aura he held when we first met.
~William's POV~
Habang naglalakad ako papunta sa kanya, I can't help but notice what he's wearing. It's the same purple boxer-shorts from our first meeting.
I smiled at the memory.

I sat down at the recliner seats by the poolside and managed to get a good position for sleeping. I don't know but I just felt like sleeping again.
Before I closed my eyes, I saw Uncle Derick wave at me. Probably he was headed to work.
~Marco's POV~
Right on that shallow part of the pool, my left foot began to feel numb and then the muscles cramped. I lost composure and felt the water enter my lungs.
Next thing I knew, I was being dragged out of the pool by Uncle Derick.

Epilogue:
When William woke up from his deep sleep, he was seated in an airplane seat bound to Singapore. He tried hard to remember what his dream was about but then he failed.
When he got out of the airport, his father picked him up. He felt a weird sense of strong deja vu but then again he failed to point out what triggered it.
In a condominium far away from William's designated residence, Marco jolted awake from his bed while profusely sweating and catching up for his breath. He stared at the ceiling, remembering why he had drowned in that dream and who rescued him.
After preparing for school, he went to the MRT Station to meet up with his girlfriend.
When they boarded the train, his girlfriend tripped while it was gaining speed. Marco helped her up and afterwards he saw a blurry vision of a young man cradled in his arms.
He shook off the vision and went along through the day with a queasy feeling in his stomach.
William's hunger won over his intentions to go to the park, so he went to a nearby restaurant located at the back of a school.
While Marco brought his girlfriend the snack he bought from a restaurant behind their school, he accidentally ran over a guy of his age. The commotion sent the food flying everywhere and Marco's body went on top of the unknown guy.
When their eyes met, an unknown emotion washed over each other's faces. Their eye contact was broken by a laughing waiter at the front of the restaurant.
When the waiter sensed William's and Marco's eyes watch him, he turned away and fixed his nameplate.
While he entered the kitchen, somebody called for him.
"DERICK! HURRY UP! WE HAVE SO MUCH TO DO. Here's another boy from the Philippines, he needs to know what destiny really means. His name is Lester.."
(A/N: THE END! Bwisit nuh? Haha. Well, I will have to run away now. I have to write "Akin Ka Na Lang, Please?" before school starts on June 3rd.)
