Zeyda sighed when 9:30 am rolled around. She slowly made her way to the break area, and sat down at a table by herself. It was quiet as she stared at the texts. Every word seemed to break her heart, over and over again. She felt like crying again. She wanted to rip her hair out not understanding where they had gone wrong. He hadn't given a reason. At least not one that had even remotely made sense to her.
She sighed leaning back in the chair as she blasted the much needed mind numbing and depressing music in her ears. After a few minutes she checked the time, groaning when she saw it was time to get back to work.
She hummed the song to herself continuously as she set about getting back to work. The day progressed slowly without incident and she removed her work glasses to rub her eyes.
She turned hearing someone call her name, however her feet caught on the cardboard that rested under her soles as she stumbled into the railing.
Her sneakers, slick from the dust on the warehouse floor, slipped out from under her and somehow ended up pitching her over the rail. She didn't have time to scream as she went head first over the railing she stared up at a coworker as they watched her fall in horror.
Then everything went black.

Sorry about the short scene. I am actually considering making this part of chapter one instead. What does everyone think? Yes I know pretty sketchy her just HAPPENING to fall over the railing, and fall to her death but hey that adds to the mystery.
Did she really fall?
Was it really a tragic accident?
