Chapter 2

Our horses sped up as soon as we reached the town limits of the Budder Village. When we arrived to the front gate, two guards came out. A man with bleach blonde man with green highlights, with black gloves came out running, "Sir Jin! Are you alright?" "Yeah..I'm fine Simon.." The next guard had dark glasses on and night black hair, "Who's this hot block?" When he said that, it made me blush, I'm guessing Jin noticed because he glared at him. "Bodil!" Bodil's laugh sounded so wierd but hallarious, it must've moved on to Simon, because he started to laugh too, except his sounded like a dolphin. "Guys. Please let us through." They walked off still laughing historically and opened the gate. As we rode through, everyone just stared at me, even when we did get off the horses and I stuck close by Jin, their eyes still stayed glued on me.
We walked up the grand gold tinted stairs and the dark wood doors opened up, letting us through. "Kai!" I looked around to find the fimmaliar voice to be hugged automatically. "Hello Alesa. Say, are you pregnant?" "Yeah! It's a boy, were gonna name it Mason." "I'm so happy for you!" I smile not even noticing Sky walk down to see what the commotion is about. "Lord Kai. What are you doing here?" I look up gloomy, "My town...it was put to flames.." He looked a tad bit surprised, sad, and stern. "Did anyone survive?" I point at Jin, myself, and then I pulled out Pancake. "Not even Garroth?" "Only his horse.." "Well you're welcomed to stay here, Kai." "Thank you." I smiled and looked over at Jin, Jin started to blush a bit, it was pretty cute.. "Kai, would you like to have a tour of the grounds?" "Why of course Jin."
When we walk out with Pancake staying by my side, everyone was running around practicing their skills and just hanging around laughing. I noticed this wierd dinosaur like figure, he was purple, green, and had a black bloody eyepatch on. He was yelling at something. As we get closer I noticed it was a....goat....? "Goat! Why you no' makings the milks?!" "Bahh..." "Goat! Yous' made me dirt!" "Bahaha..." "This is no laughings matters Goat! Yous will-" Suddenly, he turned around noticing Jin and me. "Jins! Goods to see you. Who is this?" "Barney, this is Kai. Kai this is Barney." "Kais? Wheres did you comes from?" "I used to be the Lord of the Iceland Village...before it was recent destroyed.." "I'ms so sorry.." "It's okay...so...why are you yelling at a goat?" "A goat? It's the Goat!" "Okay, why are you yelling at Goat?" "Goat decided not to makes the milks! Which forces me to gets dirt!" I start to giggle a bit, his broken English and his odd friend gives him an awesome personality. I notice a set of bows and arrows. "Pancake sit," she respectfullys sits, "and stay." She makes a little yip in uderstandment. I walk over, grab a bow and some arrows, and walk over to the standing positions for practice. I aimed and let the arrow fly, I got a bullseye first try. I turn around and see both men standing dumbfounded. "Heh...sorry it was so tempting...so I gave it ago.." "Nos...thats was awesome!" Jin nodded in agreement. I call over Pancake and had her jump up into my arms as I smile and lean my head down and up as a thank you. "Well, I will be continuing my tour. Nice to meet you Barney, and I hope we meet again soon!" "Ohs, nice to meets you too Kais!" He waved and continued to scold Goat. Jin says his quick goodbye and joins me and Pancake. "He was intresting..." "Yeah, he's pretty funny, and he gets even better when you get to know him more." I smile and look over. I see a girl with long black hair, choclate brown eyes, and a purple tanktop eating with a grey narwhale looking figure. They had a little sign in front of their table saying iJump, and when I looked at what they were eating, it was all breakfast themed food. As we walk pass them I whisper to Jin, "Y'all have a lot of....unique people." He gives a light laugh and whispers back, "We are all strange, but its good to be not normal. Right?" When he said that, I think of myself and my past. Kids would make fun of me for my personality. I'm not a big social butterfly, I would rather stay home and work on my singing and weaponry skills, than go out to a party. Now that I'm thinking about this, I'm surprised I was so open to taking in Jin. As I left my train of thoughts, I nod to his statement, agreeing with everything. When I looked up, everyone was frozen and staring at me in terror. "Jin, what's wrong?" "K-Kai....?" "Jin-" I suddenly feel pain and fall into Jin, seeing blood start to drip onto the ground. Then, everything went black.
