Chapter 3

I feel a hand grip on mine, it felt so familiar. I slowly open my eyes, "J-Jin?" "Kai...good, you're okay." "What happened?" "No good assassins...but your okay now." "Wait. What did they look like?" "One had black hair, red sunglasses, and a tuxedo on. The other was a red head with a red hood and a light blue dress on...why?" That couldn't be... "Jordan and Aureylian....I'm gonna see them." I stand up quickly and head to the door. "Wait, Kai, I'm coming with you." I nod at his want and let him tag along.
When we arrive at the jails. I hear Jordan, "Ugh....Sonja and Tucker should've warned us! Now we're screwed and Jerry is no where to be seen!" "Calm down Jordan..Tom should know what to do, speaking he's been in more trouble than this with Farmer Steve." I motion for Jin to stay where he was, I needed to see if this is the people I think they are for my self. When I look over, I see them, "Jordan!" I run over to the bars and Jordan meets me there. "Kai?! I'm so sorry, we weren't aiming for you, promise!" Aureylian walks up, "We were trying to get Jerry, he snuck in. The arrow you were shot with was a magical arrow only meant to teleport Jerry when it hit him. Otherwise to everyone else, it's just a normal arrow." As she explained her reasonings, my side starts to feel pain again, and I touch it and try to hold it. Jin came rushing over as I about collapsed again. "Are you okay?" "I....I'm fine Jin." Jin looked up at them in disgust, "Jin..please they didn't mean to. In fact, they're not even assassins. They're my friends." Jin just looked so confused and worried. "They were trying to get Jordan's slime, Jerry, with a magical arrow made by a friend of theirs, but they ended up missing the shot." "Are you sure?" "Yes...I believe them.." "But-" Suddenly, slime jumps could be heard by the jail bars. I look over and down. "Jerry! Oh my god, Jerry! Are you alright?!" "....." "Oh good.." "Jin, see. That's Jerry." I point at the little slime that is now in Jordan's arms. Jin nodded and unlocked the door for them to get out, they started to walk away, "Wait! Would you guys like to stay for dinner?" Aureylian turned around, "We've gotta go meet up with the gang..." "Tell them they can come to, my treat." She nods, smiles, and sprints out the doors leaving Jordan behind. "I guess I'll just hangout with you guys.." I walk up to him and give him a hug. "I'm so glad to see you..." He hugs back quickly trying not to show his soft side, "Me too....we got worried. We visited your town, but, everything was in ashes..the only thing we saw that wasn't gone was a few animals scavenging for food. We went to your house, only to find it burned down as well...but we did recover this." He hands me a little picture frame with me, Garroth, my mom, and my dad. It was when were at the beach, me and Garroth were still pretty young at the time, so at these times, it was awesome and nothing could be wrong with the world. I noticed that the dusty picture frame had a line of water on it, but then I noticed, I was crying happily, remembering the memories. I look up at Jordan who was smiling and then I felt a soft hand on my shoulder, "Hey, Kai. Let's get going, we've gotta meet your friends outside." "Oh," I sniffle a bit, "right, um...lets go." I grab Jerry and hug him as we walked towards the front gate.
