Chapter 3~Notice me, Please

(Jianne POV)

*at work*

Elise and I arrive at the coffee shop together. The moment we entered the café, I saw her looking for her prince Charles.

She has an ultimate crush in our guitarist named Charles who sings in the café sometimes. I saw Elise frowned when she didn’t see him around. Then she sat in the couch near the counter so that we could talk while I’m working.

She ordered Belgian waffle and Iced mocha.

“That big guy is nowhere to be found.” she concluded.

“Maybe, he’ll perform later than usual. Don’t be so upset.” I said.

“Anyway, where is that Kai-guy?” she asked.

I pouted my lips to where he is seated with another new girl. Arrgh, I hate to see this but I have no choice.

He wears a black and white striped shirt, faded jeans and a pair of blue sneakers that completed his outfit.

His face is just like a bad boy in an action movie, his hair was black, has attractive eyes, nice nose, and kissable lips.

He has a good built as if he was into some sports.

On the other hand, the girl he was with has long curly copper hair, slender body, a cute heart-shaped face and fair skin. I think they were a match-made-in-heaven and I’m nothing compared to her. :(

Kai was laughing while talking to this girl. He seemed very happy and I’m jealous. I hope I can be the one who makes you laugh, Kai.

“I know her.” Elise said.

“You know who?” me.

“The girl with him.” She whispered while pointing to the girl beside Kai.

“Who is she?” me.

“She is Jeremy's girlfriend.” She said.

“Really? Omg. Then why are they together?” I asked.

Jeremy is one of our senior in school. He’s a sweet and gentleman guy. And this girl was his girlfriend? I can’t believe it. I better stop them before Jeremy knows. But how? :(

“IDk. This can’t be happening. Jeremy is so nice to her. I pity him.” she said.

“I need to do something. I can’t let Kai be with her. I mean, Jeremy will be hurt if he sees them.” I said.

“What will you do then?” she asked me.

I looked around and saw a pitcher of water in the kitchen.

“Umm. Water, water right.” me.

“Water?” her.

“Just wait there.” I said.

(Karl POV)

“Hey Sarah, why did call me to come here?” I asked Sarah.

She’s Jeremy’s girlfriend and a good friend of mine.

“I want to tell you something, Kai.” she said, her voice shaking.

“What?” I questioned.

“I’m in love with you. And I want to break up with Jeremy.” she told me.

“Hahaha. That’s not a funny joke, Sarah. I know you can’t break up with my bro because you love each other very much.” I stated.

“No, I’m serious Karl. I would never joke about this kind of thing. I love you and I know you love me too, I can feel it.” she said pleading.
