Shuya Kano walked with his hands in the pockets of his hoodie. It was mid-afternoon, and many people were heading home from their jobs. Kano knew he should've been home earlier; Kido would be making dinner by now, and he knew if he went back to the apartment, she'd find something to yell at him about. Seto might be home--
Kano's shoulder bumped into another person. He looked up and saw an annoyed, short blonde male with bright green eyes.
"Hey, could you, like, watch where you're going?" Kano frowned slightly at the tone this man used.
"Ah, sorry, man. Guess I wasn't paying attention." Kano put on a fake smile.
The man gave no response and rolled his eyes, and Kano huffed in annoyance.
"Like I said, I'm sorry." Kano's voice was harsh.
