I wake up alone in my house. I go to the kitchen and make myself some breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast. A protein-packed breakfast. I put on my school uniform and get ready for school. I grab my bike and ride. on the way to school I get nervous. I am about to leave my hometown and go live in Brazil. I will leave all my friends, for new ones. My house, for a new one. And for what, business. I think family is more important than business.
While I get lost in a train of thought, my phone buzzes, and i accept the call from my parents. "hi honey, we miss you" my mom says.
"ya, but our condo is nice, but not as could as our house should be" says dad. " we are thinking about buying one in three months after we move"
"Okay, i miss you guys" i say. " I am almost done packing". I hear another phone ring in the condo.
"sorry son, I have to take this, bye". says dad before he hangs up.
I see the tops of the flags on my school. Seeing them makes me get nervous. Really nervous. I don't want to leave. I just don't want too. After school, I talk to Tom's mom, who will be taking me too the airport. It is an hour drive to the nearest airport, and then an 8 hour plane flight. " bye!" she says as she drives off.
On my way home i think about the plane flight. I hate planes. I am scared of heights and can rarely get any comfert on planes. I always feel like the plane is going to fall and crash.i get home and finish up my packing. take pictures of my friends and hometown. I get my big Alaskan Malamute's (Duke) travel crate, and zip up my bag. I take a few picture of my house with my iPad.
"Ding Dong!!". Tom' family is here.
