Me, Lela, and josh are heading up to the tip of a small mountain to get a view of the surrounding area. I feel the burning in my legs as I hike up the hill. When we finally make it to the top, We see a rock. On the rock something is engraved. We take a closer look, and the symbol is familiar. I remember it from math class. Pi. This place was once roamed by man. So we can't be in and unexplored section of the Amazon. This place was once roamed by educated men.
"That must be a population count, 3.1415926!" Josh gasps.
"Yes, because they definitely had three and a fourteenth hundred of a person" I say. " that makes so much sense. They had four people. But one day, they decided to cut off 86.6% off of one of the guys." i say sarcastically.
At this point I realized that Josh was probably not very smart in school. I'm surprised that he knew the first 9 digits of Pi(including the period). After that we went back down to the plane and took a nap. I don't think that we will ever see the rock again. it doesn't mean anything to us, because whoever was here is gone now. So we all just lay down on our broken chairs in the plane. And sleep.
