"Gilinsky, you suck!" Vanessa shouted from her seat.

It was Jack's turn to bowl and he held the bowling ball at the same level of his chin; deep in concentration.

"Your negativity is irrelevant, Miss Jones." Jack wiggles his eyebrows and focuses on the pins, scoring a complete strike. "Ow! Who's the man? I'm the man."

"I'll be the judge of that," she replies in a flirtatious tone. It was Vanessa's turn, nudging Gilinsky on the way to the lane. She scored nothing as the ball went straight into the right gutter.

"Who sucks now?" Gilinsky called out as they switched places yet again. "I've got this in the bag. Watch and learn."

As Jack prepared to bowl, Vanessa snuck up behind him and slightly shook him, causing the ball to only hit two pins on the left. The game was over but he still won. She laughed uncontrollably as Jack looked at her with his mouth agape.

"You think that's funny?" He moved toward her.

Vanessa shook her head, trying to hide her smile as she moved backwards.

"Do ya?" He kept moving forward, rushing in to tickle her. She laughed loudly even though she hated being tickled. But as long as it was Jack doing the tickling, she didn't mind it one bit.

"Stop," she laughed, grabbing onto his arm. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"

She didn't want him to stop. But she should've knocked on wood.

"Hey Jack," a familiar female voice spoke from the sidelines.

It was Madison along with Andrea and Teala. Turns out they were bowling a few lanes down and Madison secretly had her eyes on Jack the entire night.

Jack looked up and grinned. "Madison? Hey, what are you doing here?"

"Just bowling with my girls," Madison shrugged. "Hey Vanessa."

"Hey..." Vanessa lingered, fixing her sweater as Gilinsky moved away from her to get a little closer to Madison and her girls.

"We were gonna hit up The Peach Pit in a few minutes to grab a bite to eat, wanna come?"

Madison was only directing her invitation to Jack and it was upsetting Vanessa. It wasn't that she wanted to join in too, but she felt Madison clearly saw them already having a fun time. It was rude of her to interrupt. But Vanessa was just too nice to speak up.

"Uh," Gilinsky thought. "We were gonna play one more game."

"Oh," Madison's face fell. Vanessa squinted her eyes.

"Um, can Vanessa come?"

"It's...it's fine, Jack," Vanessa spoke. "Go ahead and have fun. I was getting sleepy anyway."

Jack walks back toward Vanessa to speak a little more privately.

"Are you sure," he asked. "I don't have to go with them if you don't want me to."

"Go have fun with your new friends," Vanessa playfully shoved him. "We hang out basically everyday, I don't wanna hog you."
