Knock knock knock. I groan rolling around next to Harry. It was a weekend which meant no work. There's snow outside so it's cold. Can't I just stay in bed with him? He's so warm... and cuddly...

Knock knock knock. Again, I groan. Who needs me so early in the morning?! "Harry..." I whine, tapping his arm. I couldn't even open my eyes. "Get the door for me."

He rolls around, wrapping an arm around me and continue to snore. Fine, I'll get it. I carefully pull away from his grasp before walking downstairs. My house is so untidy without Martha here. She's still in Fiji and she doesn't get back until... My birthday.

I walk over to the door and open it," can you come back at a later time?" I ask before opening my eyes. It was Adam from high school. The jerk I dated. "Adam, why are you here in a tuxedo?"

He laughs," are you going to let me in before I freeze my ass off?" he asks as I let him in. He brought me flowers... How sweet. Now can he leave? "I just wanted to let you know that I've been a CEO for a while and I'm a billionaire."

"And why would I care?" I ask.

"Because you stopped dating me since I was stupid," he says. "I worked hard for this job and now that I'm smart and rich, will you go out with-"

"No," I state. "Done yet?"

He scoffs," what can I do to go out with you?" he asks.

"I don't know Adam, you blew your chances in high school. I have a boyfriend right now and I would be snuggling with him but you so rudely interrupted us," I say.

"Can you please give me another chance?" he asks as I roll my eyes. "Surely this isn't the first time you've given someone another chance."

I gave Harry a second chance but I'm not telling him that," if I say yes, can you leave my house?" I ask as he nods. "Fine, I'll meet you at my cafe at twelve."

"It's eleven," he states.

"I'm meeting you there at twelve, goodbye," I say, pushing him out the door. How the heck is it eleven already? I walk back upstairs and start freshening up.

"Who was that?" Harry asks in a deep and scratchy voice, walking into the bathroom as I was washing my face. I didn't answer but he wrapped his arm around my waist from behind and cuddled me. "Don't leave the bed again."

I roll my eyes," I have somewhere to be in two hours, I have to get ready."

"Whyyyyyyyyyy," he whines. "You should be in bed with me."

"I have someone to finish business with," I say, walking to my makeup on and quickly applying everything. "You stay here."

He laughs," so demanding," he says, taking a brush and brushing my hair for me. I take one of his hands and kiss it. What kind of guy helps a girl brush her hair? Harry. "Want to tell me who you're finishing business with?"

"Adam," I respond. Harry stops brushing my hair and his face turned into one of those angry, truck drivers that are always mad because they're always mad.

"I'm not letting you see him," he states.

"Harry, come on. You don't have any reason to be so protective," I say.

He scoffs," he made you cry, remember? I'm not letting you near any guy that makes you hurt. You don't deserve that at all and I want you to be happy."

I get up and turn around to face him. My arms are over his shoulders," I love you, I care about you, but I am going whether you like it or not," I say, walking over to my closet and picking out an outfit. I settled with black see through leggings, a maroon dress and a creme sweater over it and black boots.

"You look fancy," Harry says with an unamused look.

"Stop," I say. "Nothing is going to happen between us. You're the guy I love, okay? Nothing is going to change that no matter what."

He sighs before giving me a kiss," okay, I trust you. But if you come home upset, I will hunt him down and kick his-"

"I get it," I laugh. "I love you gorgeous."

"I love you beautiful," he smiles.

Walking around New York is hard when it's cold. My workers are all on a well earned vacation and Harry has to bring the car to the shop to get fixed because I know nothing about cars. My brother had to choose one for me because I didn't care.

I open the door to my cafe and instantly saw Adam sitting there. I look at the clock on the wall and it read 12:32. Whoopsies. I take a seat across from Adam," hot chocolate with marshmallows, whipped cream and extra marshmallows on top," he says, pushing a cup towards me. "I still remember from our first date a couple years ago."

I take a sip from the cup and left some lipstick on it," just because you remembered my winter drink doesn't prove you're a good boyfriend," I say.

"Your hair looks great," he says, changing the subject. I've gotten many compliments about my new hair and I can't thank Gemma enough for it. "And you obviously look great."

"Adam, listen to me carefully. We're never getting back together and I have absolutely no feelings for you whatsoever. So please do me a favor and leave me alone," I state.

"Phoebe, Phoebe, Phoebe. It's sad that you have to hide all of your emotions inside, you have to let it all out before it's too late. I am a billionaire, did I mention that?" he asks.

"I'm pretty sure you did," I say, rolling my eyes.

He smirks," how about I buy you a yacht?" he asks as I shake my head. "How about two? And I'll throw in a purple Lamborghini."

I laugh," you can't buy my love Adam."

"You're right," he says, sighing. "I don't know how to handle things like this. You're the first girl I've ever met that had some self control and independent. I was so stupid that I didn't see that in high school. Everyone's stupid in high school but when I went to college, I studied my ass off because I was so determined to get you back... But now I'm too late."

I slightly smile," aw, did you mean all that?" I ask.

He scoffs," no. You're always so gullible. I want you back because you make a great top."

I roll my eyes before leaving the cafe. He is such an immature jerk. I curse at myself when I think about dating him back then. I look around the city before walking into the Nike's store," how can I help you today ma'am?" a guy asks, approaching me.

"I need new tennis and running shoes," I say. "But I can find them on my own, thanks."

He nods as I walk over to the tennis aisle. Once the weather gets warmer, I will be exercising and on the courts as soon as possible. I picked out a white pair of Nike Zoom Vapor 9.5 Tour for tennis and a pink pair of Nike Flyknit Lunar 3 for running. I wanted to get the flyknit Air Max but it didn't quite suit my style. I was wandering around in the men's section and I might as well get Harry the same pair of running shoes but in black.

"Your total is $440," the cashier says as I hand her my credit card. I need new training bras but I'd be here forever if I pick them out. "Thanks for shopping at Nike, please come again."

I grab the two bags of shoes before making it back home. I can't wait till I play tennis again. And I can't wait until I get to play against Harry and dominate him because I'm the pants in this relationship.😉
