Sitting on the steps
Simply waiting
Not sure if your coming
Just simply waiting
All day hoping I get to see you
wish you were with me
standing in the rain
simply waiting
I do nothing
But simply wait
No long sitting on the steps
or not being sure you'll come
nor standing in the rain
no more simply waiting
off the floor
wanting no more
clearing out
with out a doubt
out the door
not waiting any more
in the car
going so far
driving not waiting
maybe some day
you'll find your way
from now till then
I won't wait again
if you want me
you'll have to do one thing
just simply wait
you can stand by the door
and simply wait
call my phone
and just drone about
how I make you
simply wait.
