The sky is graying
Raindrops start to fall
Puddles begin to form
Music in my headphones
The day is calm
Everything is peaceful
Some are enjoying the weather
Others are seeking shelter
The grass is muddy
And children come out to play
Mothers watch from the window
Holding cups of coffee or tea
Knowing the house will no longer be clean
Clothes filled with mud
Noses red from the wind
Hair soaked with drops of water
The rain soon lets up
Sun comes out from the clouds
Mud starts to dry
The puddles are disappearing
And the rainy day fun comes to an end.
