trust intuition.

   THE MORNING SUN HAD barely brushed the rooftops with pale gold when Juliette slipped out of the hotel. She moved softly, careful not to wake anyone else. Klaus had given her permission to go alone. He trusted she wouldn't simply vanish and run away, but his eyes followed her from the window, heavy with quiet unease.

"I don't know about this, Juliette." He had said, his face filled with concern as she packed her bag.

The blonde had sighed, facing him as she drank from the flask of fresh animal blood Klaus had gotten her, "Klaus, I've been cooped up with you and Stefan for months, I need some time alone." She reassured.

The memory of her collapsing in agony the night before lingered fresh between them. And Klaus was still unsure of what had happened to her. "What if what happened last night happens again? How can you prevent it? Do you even know how to-"

Juliette had stopped him before he rambled, "Klaus, I told you that.... It's happened before and.... I can.... well.... handle it."

He raised a brow, "You don't sound so sure, Juliette, last night you told me that for a year, you have been haunted by a witch, who has a direct link to you and can hurt you. Do you think going out alone is a good idea?"
