Chapter Six: Family Get Together

Courtney's POV:

    I step out of my car and brace myself for stepping into the house. The house I probably wasn't going to feel accepted in, but I am not leaving my babies with complete strangers. Even if they are their relatives. I don't know them. I get them out of their car seats and grab their diaper bag and head for the door. I am deciding how the hell I was going to ring the doorbell with my arms so full when the door swings open. A beautiful women stood in the door frame with the biggest smile I could ever imagine fitting on her face. She looks like she's about fifty or so, but is still gorgeous.

    "Well dear you don't have to just stand there come in, I want to see my grand babies." She says stepping aside giving me room to enter the house. It is a cute house. It is pretty large and had a cozy feel.

    "Hi Mrs. Fuller I'm Courtney and this is Jackson and Bella-" She cust me off.

    "My names Jackie and Isaac already told me. Now stop looking so damn nervous." She says making me smile. I like her already.

    "Stay in your room." I hear Isaac's voice, I can't see him.

    "Yeah as if that's the reason you want to go out there." He says clearly having a conversation with someone. He sounds annoyed.

    "No you are not saying that to her." Okay now he sounds angry.

    "So honey, how was the drive?" Mrs. Fuller asks clearly trying to divert my attention.

    "Oh it was alright, it's always chaotic with kids." I reply curious to who Isaac was talking to.

    "I don't mean to be too forward, but can I hold them." I chuckled and handed Bella over who seems curious. Of course Jackson clings to me.   

    "Hi little girl, I'm your grandma." She says making Bella smile. I tried my best to explain to them that Isaac was their father and we were going to meet his family. I'm not sure they fully understand yet. They have never known what a father was so it will take some time. I wanted to give them that time, but I figure it would be hard to get through today without it coming out.

    "Jackson's quiet a bit shyer than Bella, so it will take him a bit." I say as she tries to talk to Jackson making him cling harder onto me.

    "Hey Courtney." Isaac said coming around the corner.

    "And hi little ones." Jackson turned around and smiles when he saw Isaac. He puts his arms out, which Isaac is happy to pick him up.

    "I told them." I whisper, I'm sure if he hears me until he nods.

    "Hello Courtney I am Isaac's much more attractive much nicer older brother." A man who looks to be slightly older than me says coming around the corner which Isaac came from moments ago. I'm not going to lie he is pretty attractive, I wouldn't say more attractive than Isaac, but he has something going for him. He has blonde hair that was almost brown, but not quiet and he has pretty blue eyes, he is also quiet muscular.

    "Um hi?" I say not knowing what else I'm supposed to say. Bella giggles as she watches what was unfolding. Figures she would think this is funny

    "Brandon go back to your room." Isaac says through gritted teeth seeming very annoyed and slightly pissed.

    "No I want to see my adorable niece and nephew and their hot mom." He says shooting me a wink. Before I can say anything Mrs. Fuller beat me to it.

    "Brandon Simpson Fuller, get your butt back in your room and stop bothering this nice lady!" She says pointing with her free hand. His face got a deep shade of red and I can't help, but laugh at his defeated expression.
