I woke up to the screaming and sighed. I drug myself out of bed and into the next room to the nursery. I opened the door and mad my way over to Bella's crib. Her tears slowed when she saw me and she raised her hands up wanting me to pick her up which I did.

"Morning Bee." I said tickling her tummy making her giggle. I shifted her into my other arm and went over to the other crib. Jackson was patiently waiting for me, his sister's screams must have woke him up. I scooped him up in my other arm arm and headed to the kitchen where two high chairs were set up. I put them in and began getting their oatmeal ready. When I finally got them situated and eating I could focus on myself and my utter lack of energy. I began preparing the coffee and when I pushed the brew button I felt an arm snake around my waist.

"Good morning beautiful." I smiled to myself and turned in his arms.

"Morning Jason." I said pecking him on the cheeks.

"Tomorrow I swear I will wake up with them." He said looking at the kids.

"No it's fine, I like our quality time. Besides pretty soon they might start calling you dad if you do that." I said making him chuckle.

"I wouldn't mind that." He said making me break into a smile.

"So what times your flight." I asked looking at the clock on the stove.

"Not till this afternoon, you know I hate leaving you and the kids, but this meeting could get me promoted." He said with an apologetic smile.

"I know we're going to my moms tonight anyways." I said trying to make him feel less guilty. He always did this when he has a meeting he has to fly to.

"Okay well we can go to the diner for lunch before I head out." He said.

"Sounds good." I replied grabbing the wash cloth to clean up the oatmeal Bella just threw on the floor.

"Okay well I'm going to go set some stuff up with my boss, meet me at the diner at 12: 30." He said kissing me on the cheek.

"Love you." I yelled before he shut the door.

"Love you too." He shouted through the door. I shook my head with a smile on my face. I turned around and met four hazel eyes that only 3 years were filled with lust and intensity, but were now filled with innocence and curiosity. When I first found out I was pregnant their were two runners up for the father and I wasn't sure which was the worst candidate, but when their eyes shifted from the dark blue most baby's were born with to beautiful hazel eyes their was no doubt in my mind. By that time Isaac had moved to Florida without any knowledge of the two perfections he was leaving behind. Maybe it was for the better, because 6 months after they were born Jason entered my life and hasn't left it since. He loved my kids like they were his own and they loved him. Sometimes I wonder what would've happened if Isaac never left and I grew the courage to tell him about his beautiful babies, one the spitting image of him. Whenever my mind starts to wander in that direction I quickly shake it from my mind. That's just not how our lives turned out and it was probably for the better.

"Are you guys ready to go to grandmas?" I asked making them nod their head furiously.

"Yea momma!" Bella screamed jumping on her butt on the high chair. They loved my mom. She spoiled them rotten. I guess that's what grandparents are for. Except mine, they just gave me books for presents and made me spinach every time I came over. Now I hate the stuff.

"Okay finish your oatmeal and we can get ready." I said making them speed shovel food into their mouth. I chuckled as their food began covering their face. I grabbed my phone and snapped a quick picture before grabbing a pile of baby wipes and wiping their faces before pulling them out one by one and carrying them into the living room where all the baby toys were. While they played with all the toys I went to their rooms and packed a nights worth of clothes and another outfit along with spare clothes, because you'll learn pretty quickly as a mother you'll need them. Then I went to my room and packed my stuff before heading to check on them. Bella was playing with the monster truck Jason got Jackson for his birthday while Jackson played with the carpet, pulling out strands and inspecting them. Luckily it was only Bella who got in the habit of sticking anything and everything in her mouth that she could get her hands on.

"Jackie watch tis." She said before making the monster truck do a flip making him clap. I know when they're older they'll claim they hate each other, but they are two peas in a pod.

"Wow Bella." I said clapping making her beam and do it again.

After we met Jason at the diner we headed to my mom's house. It was only an hour drive, but two year olds made it fell like far longer. I love them, but twins are definitely a handful.

When we got their after plenty of tantrums and even more 'are we there yet' s we finally arrived at the house where I took my first steps and snuck out of a hundred times.

"Grammas!" Bella shrieked making Jackson screech. I got them out and headed to the door that swung open instantly.

"My babies!" My mom yelled throwing her hands out to hold one. Bella happily jumped into them, which was fine with Jackson, he was definitely a mommas boy.

"How was the drive Courtney?" She asked while bouncing Bella making her squeal.

"Oh it was fine, same as always. They were very excited to see you. Especially Bell." I said making mom smile and take her into the living room where she already had all the toys she bought for them laid out.

"I'm making chocolate chip cookies. I need butter do you mind running to the store?" She asked as she handed Bella her favorite teddy.

"That's fine. Jack you want to come." I asked knowing he would bawl whenever I left. He nodded quickly and smiled at me.

"I'll be back in twenty." I yelled into the living room as I closed the door to the house and got in my car after putting Jack in his seat. I pulled into the corner store where I used to walk on summer days for ice cream. I got out and carried Jack into the store and headed to the dairy section. I was looking for the cheapest butter when I heard a voice that made my stomach drop.

"Courtney?" I turned around to face a very shocked Isaac Foller.
