The Past Returning - Chapter 7

Me and Ella left school and decided to go KFC since we was both kinda hungry. I turned up the volume on the radio and New boys - You're a jerk started blasting. The way we started dancing in the car. My car was rocking like hell. People that drived past us started dancing aswell. We was stuck in traffic cause these two stupid drivers were arguing cause one driver wasn't looking where they were going cause they were too busy eating food and almost crashed into the other person.

The one being accused for not looking properly said that if their fat self saw them driving then they should have moved before he came. People argue for the most stupid reasons it unbelievable. When the song was finished we stopped dancing and my song came on Chris brown ft T-Pain freeze. I was all singing along so was Shakira and we both started dancing again. It was mad. I looked out the window to see this familiar black car just a few cars away from us.

I started thinking where the hell did I see that car from while Ella was dancing to the song. My phone started vibrating in my pocket and I took it out. Got a text by some unknown number. I opened the text: Unknown number: Long time no see...

I looked up and saw him in the black car.

My eyes widened as soon as I remembered where I had seen the black car before... it scared the living daylight out of me.

How the hell did they fucking find me!?

My eyes widened as I saw another face. I knew instantly from looking at him who it was. That means the rest must be around. I started looking around the place in my car. I saw two more cars around me. They were all black aswell. I thought I left them time ago, and right when I thought that my life was back to normal and there was nothing to worry about. They show up, while I got Ella in the car.

The green light came on and I drove fast while passing the black car. I couldn't see their faces since they had black tinted windows. Then the three black cars followed behind me. I turned a few corners then right when I was near KFC they turned another corner and they were gone. I sighed in relief while Ella looked at me smiling.

"Hey you okay?" I turned to her and smiled and put my hand on her cheek

"I'm okay. Well, we're here." I announced.

She started jumping up and down in her seat and I started laughing. I parked in the parking lot and we both got out the car.

She held my hand and we walked to KFC to go get some food. When we got outside the shop and I saw one of the black cars. My heart started beating faster. I looked around but I couldn't see them. Where could they be? I quickly took her in the shop and we ordered our food.

Fifteen minutes later we finally made our food and we went to go sit upstairs. Through the window I saw one of them outside office and he looked up at me and grinned. I looked back at him with a blank expression. He turned around back to the shop and started talking.

I think he was talking to someone else because when he stopped he looked back at me and then the one and only came out the shop and looked at him and started talking. He pointed to where I was and they both looked up to me. They both started grinning at me, guess they were happy to find me again after I left them a while back without telling them.

My eyes widened more as more of them were gathered around KFC and outside other shops just across the road from where we was. What are they gonna do with me? What do they want with me?

Ella tapped me on my shoulder and said, "What's wrong? Why you acting weird?"

I looked at her and smiled, "Nothing don't worry. I'm fine. Just thinking about something that's all."

She hugged me and I kissed her on her forehead. "Let's eat then."

She said and went to her seat. I smiled at her then looked outside the window again. They were gone. I sighed in relief for at least now, they were gone.

I went to Ella and we both started eating our food. I could tell that after we had finished eating that Shakira was satisfied and full. So was I. But I still couldn't get over that they are back. What do they want with me? Where did they go? Why are they here? Are they gonna hurt Ella? All of these questions just kept running through my head. I tried shaking it off but it just kept coming back.

We left all our rubbish on the table and left. I quickly took her into my car and drove off. I needed for her to be at home so she would be safe. When we arrived outside her house. She turned towards me and gave me a hug; I hugged her back.

"Thank you for everything dude." She told me.

When I heard that I smiled at her and gave her a kiss on her cheek.

"Don't worry about it. It's my pleasure."

She kissed me on my cheek and got her bags and got out the car. She waved at me and I waved back she walked to her door and opened it. Before she closed the door she blew me a kiss. I caught it and put it to my heart. She smiled at me then closed the door.

I drove off to my house, frightened that I would see their cars again. I didn't live far from the girls, because now, we had moved closer to them and out of the temporary house. But now that we're back as friends without Jerika, it's feels like I'm at home when I go over theirs. The best thing about is all is that my house was only a few minutes away. Ella was already in her house which was further up the road so they couldn't see me in my car until I got to my parking lot.

When I got outside my house. I saw the three black cars. My eyes widened as I got out the car. How did they find out where I lived? I moved away from my old house years ago. I never told them were I lived now and all of a sudden they're here.

I got out the car and locked it. I walked to my door. All of them, standing there, before my eyes. How I never thought I'd see the day.

"You took your time didn't you?"

I swear at that moment.

My heart sunk inside my body.

And fear filled me.
