Chapter 16

"Wow." Is all Rider said about Jayy's behavior yesterday as she sat on my couch. She had gotten an earlier flight without even telling me. Grr. I'm happy to see the bitch anyway though. "Yea. So I just went home to get some sleep for work today." I told her and she smiled a little at me.

"He was just upset Evanna." She tried to soothe. "Yea but Dahvie was even more upset than he was and he didn't treat me like that." I retorted. "Well-" She was cut off by my phone ringing. I bit my lip, not looking at the caller ID and putting the phone to my ear after pressing answer.

"Hello?" I said into the phone. "Hi. This is Charlotte with the Pomeranian puppies. I was just confirming that you were still coming at 3 o'clock this afternoon." Crap! Now I have to go and get my birthday present without the person who bought it for me. "Oh. Yes I'll be there." I confirmed. "Great! See you then." She said and hung up. I sighed and looked at the clock. 2:30.

"Rider. Can you come somewhere with me?" I asked her and she nodded. "Sure. Where?" She asked. I smiled a little. "To get my puppy." I said simply and she grinned. "Aww. Okay let's gooo!" She said excitedly, making me feel better. I grabbed my car keys and we were off.

"So what kind of puppy?" She asked. "A Pomeranian." I smiled. "Aw that's cute." She said and I nodded as she reached for the radio in the car. She pressed a few buttons a few times before One More Night by Maroon 5 came in.

Being Rider, she automatically started to sing along. I sang with her and then some song came in that I didn't know but Rider knew it so she sang along.

Five songs later, we were at the woman's house at 3:05. We walked onto the porch and I knocked on the front door. The door opened after a moment and the woman who sold me the puppy grinned kindly at us. "Hello! Evanna?" She made sure I was the right client. "Yes." I confirmed with a smile. "Okay. Here is your puppy and her papers." She said cheerily, handing me the party colored pomerananian and papers.

"Have a nice evening ladies." She smiled at us as we walked away. "You too!" I called as I started to drive off. "What are you gonna make this adorable creature?" Rider asked, running her nose against the puppie's. "Daisy." I said simply and Rider nodded. "I like Daisy. Hello Daisy." Rider started to talk to my new puppy.

We soon arrived home and I looked at the time in my phone. I sighed sadly. "I'm gonna go talk to Jayy. You wanna come with?" I asked Rider and she shrugged. "Okay. He hasn't texted or talked to me since... Ya know." I said, referring to yesterday. "Yea. Its fine. I'll go if you're okay with it." She smiled kindly at me. I love this chick. Not like that. Sisterly love.

We soon arrived at blood manor and I went in. Rider decided to stay in the car with the puppy. I walked in, deciding against knocking. "I flicked the light on and Jayy was there with roses and a sympathetic look on his face. "Hi honey." He said softly. I scoffed, trying to act mad. "Don't 'Hi honey' me." I growled, trying to make myself be mad at him. He smirked, knowing I was forcing this angry state.

"Oh my my my. Where are my manors?" He put a hand over his chest, in a fake surprise. "What are you ta-" I was cut off by a big kiss from Jayy. He shoved his tongue in my mouth, making me gasp from the new feeling he gave me. I kissed him back, fighting off his warm tongue to search his mouth but he pulled away before I got the opportunity.

I pouted and slapped his chest playfully. "You're mean." I sighed and he chuckled. "So. What about my question?" He asked and I furrowed my eyebrows. "What?" I asked between the kisses he kept kissing me, my back against the front door. "Will you move in with me?" He asked and stopped the flutery kisses he was giving to me. I frowned.

"I don't know, Jayy. Rider is living with me an-" I was cut off. "She can move in too! "Yea but-" I was cut off. "Please! You won't have to pay rent!" he exclaimed. "I wouldn't want to be a b-" I was cut off again. "You wouldn't be and neither would Rider! Pleeeease!" He tried. "Cut me off again and I'm slapping you." I was surprised he let me get a full sentence out of my mouth.

"Sorry." he mumbled. "Where would Rider even sleep?" I asked. "There's a spare room." He answered. "What if she won't move in?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. "Duct tape, rope and chloroform?" He suggested. I crossed my arms and glared.

He put his hands up in surrender. "Okay okay. I'll talk to her tonight. I'll give you an answer tomorrow. Okay?" I reasoned. "Okay hot stuff." He smirked, giving me a soft, long and passionate kiss to my lips. "I have to be at work in half an hour so I should get going." I whispered since his face was inches from mine.

"I only need ten minutes." He whispered and kissed me hard, before dropping to his knees and trying to unbuckle my pants. "No Jayy. Rider is in my car right now with the puppy. I've gotta go." I said breathlessly as he had already gone to work on me. "Okay." He mumbled. He pulled away from my area and I pulled my jeans back up. I redid my belt and hugged him.

"Love you." He kissed the top of my head. "Love you too " I kissed his jaw line. "I'll call you." I said before walking out. I got back in the driver's seat and Rider have me a quizzing look.

"How did it go? You were in their for a bit." She raised an eyebrow. "It went well." I blushed a little as I tried my best to close my legs right because of the tingly feeling between them lingering. "Well good." She smiled as the puppy curled up in my lap and I drove us home.

Sorry this chapter wasn't as great as the others but I have big plans for this story I promise.

Updates may be slower starting around September 10 because I start freshmen year. Ugh.
