An unexpected love

"Im looking for my love, have you seen her?"

(December 19th, 2014)

"Hey Matty! Glad you could make it!"

Matthew looked over, and saw his good friend, Courteney. Courteney was throwing a Christmas party, and she invited just about anybody who could come. Only about 60 people showed up, everyone had gone somewhere for the holidays.

Through the big crowd, Matty couldn't find the one person he was looking for, Jen. He hadn't seen her in over a year. He missed her like crazy.

*Matty*
"Hey Court! Do you happen to know if Jen showed up?"

*Court*
"Yeah! I was talking to her earlier, dont know where she ended up though.

*Matty*
"Ok! Thanks Cc"

Matty ran off, asking everybody in his path if they had seen Jen. They all said yes, but they didnt know where she was now.

Finally, Matthew saw her, standing by the fireplace. He should of known she would be there, she was always cold, but never wore a coat.

*Jen*
"MATTHEW!!"

*Matty*
"Hey! Jen! I've been looking all over for you!"

*Jen*
"Its so good to see you!" She hugged him. "How have you been?"

*Matty*
"I've been..... Good. Gettin kinda lonely. Just wish I had a great girl like you." He smiled at her.

*Jen*
"Aww honey, thats sweet." She gave her big old smile, the smile that made the world stop turning for just a split second, the smile that Matty had missed.

Suddenly, Matty looked at Jen in a way he never had. He had always, of course, thought she was beautiful, but now, now she looked just radiant. He stared at her for a minute, sort of dazing off.

*Jen*
"Matty? Hello?"

*Matty*
"I just, you just, you........ You look...... Stunning." He smiled real big.

Jen blushed a little bit, but she didnt know what to say.

*Matt"
"Hey! Matty! Jen! Good to see you guys!"

*Matty*
"Leblanc! Hows it going man?!?!" They shook hands, and gave a little bro hug. Jen was glad somebody cut the tention.

The three of them talked for a while, got all caught up.
