Amari

I walk out my room and look around at my living room and smile. "You like it?" Arya asks.

Her and my mom have been here getting everything situated and put together since I been staying at Mia's and it looks so nice.

"Yeah, I just need some more decor from hobby lobby or some then I'll be satisfied" I say. "And we gotta go grocery shopping" I add.

My mom grabs her keys. "So what made you get a 3 bedroom?" She asks. 

"In case Arya comes over and wants to stay the night, or any of y'all cause my baby staying with me for a minute so just extra space for company cause Mia will complain her ass off if I make her sleep on the couch" I answer.

She shakes her head as we walk out the house. We get in the car and head to run our errands. My phone rings and I answer it seeing Mia's name. "Yes boo?" I ask putting it on speaker.

"Why the fuck is this nigga blowing my phone up like I'm his bitch or some, like real shit Amari, what we doing cause I'm so close to telling Ariel to run up in that nigga shit" She fusses. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you, it's just a lot going on and I'm trying to handle shit with my mama and his number keep popping up on my fuckin phone, Ariel ain't back yet and I ain't had no act right so I'm just frustrated as fuck" She says in a calmer tone.

It gets quiet until I bust out laughing. "You're on speaker" I say.

"You bitch, my fault yall, excuse my mouth" She says. "But all jokes aside, what's the plan, do the twins need to be there or what?" She asks.

We were gonna go to Ariel's parents but then I figured it'd be easier to meet at my place, but I don't want him knowing where I stay so I'm back to square one.

I look at my mom. "Is the option still open to meet at Ariel's parents?" My mom asks. "I don't know Khyree that well or what he's capable of so I wanna play it safe" she says.

"Lemme call Ariel's mom and ima text you, I'm still in the bed" She says. "I love y'all and I'll talk to yall shortly" She adds hanging up.

"She hasn't changed a bit" My mom says. "That's good"

Arya taps my shoulder. I look back at her and she hands me her phone. "You like that? I wanna get it for the baby's room...once you figure out a name" She says.

I look at the pictures of baby blankets and tap the ones I like before handing her phone back to her. "I'll have one figured out by tonight, I've been looking but I'm tryna narrow it down" I say.

"Great, just let me know" She says sitting back.

We soon get to Hobby Lobby and start looking around. "We got a budget?" Arya asks.

I shake my head. "No, but I'm not taking multiple trips up and down the elevator, it makes me nauseous" I say.

She nods. "All I needed to hear, okay lead the way" She says.

"I'm gonna go look at fabric cause I wanna make him a blanket" Our mama says before walking off.

Ariel

We finally land back home and I run over to my car. "Come on, I got shit to do" I yell.

They all get in the car after putting our luggage in and I speed off. "What's the plan?" Kareem asks.

I look at the time. "Y'all can take my car and drop me off at home cause Mia still at the house getting ready" I say. "Only Mila and A.J on my insurance so don't go joy riding in my shit" I add.

Once I get home, I close and lock the door. I walk upstairs to our room and see Mia eating gummy worms while watching something on the tv.

I walk in and immediately get her attention. She throws the candy down and gets out the bed then walks over to me. "I missed you" She says pouting.
