Shadow Love

Chapter 1

Mykal's POV

Two months later......August 20, 2015

I am in my first subbasement level jumping in the trampoline room, doing flips and tricks, while listening to Excisions Shambhala 2013 Mix, with the lyric video playing on the walls. When a girls voice says "Dammy, It's 4:45 AM and your first class today is at 8...you need to get ready if your going to make it on time, especially since it's the first day". Sighing as the video shuts off and the music stops, I slowly come to a stop and make my way over to the far right wall and opens the panel to place my hand on the hand print scanner, making the elevator open and being to able to enter. It quickly rises and opens up to my bedroom closet and I exit, walking over to my clothes, picking out a pair of blue skinny jeans, a burgundy long sleeve T-shirt, and my black belt with silver and turquoise accents. Making my way out of the closet, walking past the King sized bed with Navy and Black bedding, that I haven't slept in since I arrived here, into the master bathroom. Walking over to the shower that has four shower heads turning it on as I strip out of my sweat pants and t shirt, placing them into the hamper. I get into the shower, quickly doing a fast wash and rinse using the products I bought from Bath and Body Works in Noir fragrance, brushing my teeth as well while in the shower, once done without looking into the mirror dries my body off quickly. Once dressed, I open the top drawer finally looking into the mirror and applies the silver eye-shadow to my eyes then lines them with my coal black liner, finishing with mascara. Pulling out the hair brush, I brush out my white hair that reaches to mid back, quickly braiding it into a french braid, tucking it under and clipping it with a silver hair clip with turquoise stones at my nape. Putting on matching wide banded bracelets to my wrists and spraying myself with the matching Noir body spray. Walking over to the dresser by the door grabbing some socks and leaves the room, heading for the stairs that lead to the first floor.

Once downstairs I make my way over into the kitchen and ask "Brat, did I make fruit salad last night??"

"Yes, Dammy, It should be on the second shelf in the fridge." Brat replies.

"Hey, play Korn vs Blue Stahli-Coming Undone Vs Ultranumb with the lyrics up," I say as I start my cup of coffee using the Kuerig. Music starts blaring through out the house as the walls in all the rooms have the corresponding lyrics playing on them. "What is my schedule for today?" asking while fixing myself a bowl of fruit salad, grabbing both it and my coffee, make my way over to the island taking a seat. To my right on the wall is today's ASU class schedule as well as, the time showing that if I want to make it in time for my first class which is at 8 AM, English 101, I had to leave within the next 30 minutes. Sighing, I ask rhetorically, "Why am I taking classes that I took 17 years ago, again?" groaning.

"You said it was because they wouldn't look for you in college, since you said it on numerous occasions. That you would rather gouge your eyes out first, Dammy" Brat responds.

"I might still do it" I say, while setting the dishes into the sink. Going to finish getting ready, I put on my custom made combat boots that have Omega and Alpha symbols for eyelets. Grabbing my army green messenger bag and black backpack with the books designated for today, I heading out to the garage, verbally commanding "Brat, Protocol qeylIS, tagh til jIchegh (Translation- Initiate GOD Protocol, til I return)". Standing in the garage I listen for the metal doors and window covers to close concealing the inside, projecting a false image.

Walking over to the panel by the door, I place my thumb on the scanner, retrieve from within the keys to the Blue 2015 Ford Shelby GT350R Mustang,  with two black sport strips from front to back. Throwing my bags into the passenger seat start it up and let out a moan as the engine purrs. Backing out after the garage door rises, Fall Out Boy- The Phoenix starts blaring from the cars sound system. Heading to the highway to fight early morning traffic to get into the Metropolitan area of Phoenix, more specifically Tempe College town, knowing that at this time it will take at least two hours.
