It wasn't until this last December that I began seeing Thirteen again, needless to say, I was overjoyed. I thought I had lost him for good, that I had done something wrong.

Of course, Thirteen acted like no time had passed at all, idling about as usual. I didn't mind, really just relieved that he was here, after so long. I'd been extremely lonely, and lost, because I couldn't go talking to anyone about it. I sat down with Thirteen and caught him up on all recent happenings, to which he was surprised at the time that had elapsed.

And you're probably thinking, wow, this story wasn't as scary as I'd hoped.

That's fine, Thirteen wasn't always mean. Through December he got a little wild again, and I'd often face him in the middle of the night causing a ruckus. Not that it mattered, it made me smile usually. I missed it.

Falling into January, I had stopped seeing Triggers and Screamers. I found this to be so after I had gotten a slight grasp on what Abyss was, and the creatures in it. As well as the fact that I was becoming a happier person. The rough parts were over, right? I had accomplished a feat so difficult.

Or....Had I?

March first, 2013. I woke to a gasping noise, coming from the left side of the room. This was all too familiar, the night I had first seen Thirteen, the heaviness in the air. I could hear it breathing, whatever it was.

Slowly, I turned my head, so as to not startle it. The thing I was looking at was grey coloured, it had bright yellow eyes, and looked older. Its ears were pointed and pretty long, and it had odd marking along its body.

I did the only thing I could think to do. I sat up, smiled a little, and invited it to come sit with me.

(This is the conclusion to Thirteen, and I thank you all very much for reading. Of course, there really is no end to Thirteen...He's still around and such. These past few days have been a wonderful experience, and I'll hopefully go somewhere with this series, in much more detail.

Goodnight, sleep well! You never know....You might wake up one night to a Thirteen of your own.
