#7 - First Dates Can Be Weird

And as all of you lovely readers know , I try my best to be different so just a heads up that this isn't you know , your typical first date. This preference was kind of like inspired by One Direction's Night Changes video cause i love that cause the date's horrible but funny and cute at the same time. BOOM! Here's something a tad bit different ;

Cal-Pal :

I walked around the living room as I waited for him to pick me up. I had no idea why i had agreed to this. I mean , my sister set me up with one of her really "cute" co-workers. It sounded pretty horrible to me already. But she wouldn't shut up about how i needed to get laid or at least go on a date.

Hey relax , nobody's having sex tonight.

I heard my phone vibrate on the coffee table and saw that it was him calling. I declined his phone call and walked outside. I saw a nice car , him inside fiddling with his phone.

Oh yeah , I have no idea what he looks like by the way.

I walked over to the Toyota Prius and knocked on the car's window. He raised his head up and i swear i could've fallen to the ground right there at that moment. He was a fucking sex god.

He unlocked the car's door as I hopped in.

'You must be (y.n).' He said as he leaned over and slightly hugged me.

'Calum , right?' I said getting all giggly and weird around him like a high school teenage girl.

Hey look , i'm 20 and so is this dude. But so far , all the blind dates i went on were horrible. My friends said : 'Oh , he's totally cute!' and then when the date came he would just end up looking like a sheep.

Yeah , my sister told me Calum was cute but goddamn I was not ready for this.

'So where are we going.' I watched outside as he turned on the radio , Artic Monkeys coming on.

'It's a close place by , nice food , nice atmosphere , thought you would like it.' He said , glancing at me sideways , smiling.

God , he was acing it and i was acting like a dork.

We arrived shortly as he got out of the car , racing towards my side , opening the car for me. A gentleman too. Nice.

'I have a reservation for 2 under Hood?' He said to the girl at the entrance and i nearly choked on my spit. This place was fancy as fuck.

'Follow me please.' The snobby girl said as I walked infront of Calum as he slightly placed his hand on my waist.

'Your waiter will be here soon.' She said , handing us 2 menus , walking away.

Our table directly looked onto the shore and the ocean was out in the open. It was at night so it was even more beautiful.

'Welcome to Amelie , how may I help the both of you on this very beautiful night?' Our waitor said , his Italian accent chiming in.

'Um... I think i'll have the Smoked chicken plate and the lady will have..?' Calum said as he expected me to finish off his sentence.
